[ROM] Rumm Rx v1.0 - First dose of awesomeness ;)

Love the rom but after a couple of minutes online my X will go to google, type in urban dictionary kang, load search results, then reboot.... all by herself! What gives? I love this rom and all the extras but I can't have these reboots.... Help!

Wtf? Is this a joke I'm not in on?.. I don't know if I should laugh or be freaked out.

LOLOLOL.. ok.. sorry for laughing.. probably not fun. reinstall the rom - no wipe required, and it will be fixed.

I'm having all of issue with this rom 2.3.320 (from 2.2 rooted no rom)

- Sometimes after reboots it wipes out the changes I did to build prop.
- Sometimes when it reboots it goes to recovery mode.
- Dialer crashes
- sl4a crashes
- power amp crashes
- calendar crashes on new event

I know some of these are known. All I care about is getting the build props to stay as edited on every boot. Sometimes it sticks sometimes it doesn't.

Bit of a noob...would love any tips!

For changes not to wipe go into /data/rumm_rx/init.d.conf and change EDIT_PROPS=1 to EDIT_PROPS=0

for recovery mode go into the same file and change RECOVERY_SAFE_MODE=1 to RECOVERY_SAFE_MODE=0

The dialer crashes because you changed the LCD desnity (will fix soon)

will fix other issues soon as well.

su
sh /sdcard/pwramp.sh fix

Does you Home button work correctly? If not then you need to reset and reprogram via VZW using *228. I've seen this happen on many different ROM and it has something to do with the programming and syncing with your Google account. And the only wya I've found to fix it was to reset and then do the *228 option 1 to reprogram.

Has any progress been made as far as Facebook sync goes? Syncmypix is frustrating. This and Rubix appear to be the only ROMs that don't break my camera, but both will not sync with Facebook. Friggin leak.. -sigh

I went into setting / accounts / and added my facebook account just to see what it would do and somehow it all syncs now. Try that

Is it using blur or the market app to sync? I restored my backup of the leak, so I can't try at the moment.

Some apps install on the first-boot including quick search. Send me the rumm_rx log. You can get it in /data/rumm_rx/rumm_rx.log. You can also check if the apps didn't install by looking in /data/rumm_rx/apps

I need to fix facebook sync but syncmypix from the android market works like a charm
