[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11

So what are you overclocked to? Judging by your screenshot, about 2Ghz? :)

Overclocked to 1.35. My phone can't handle anymore than that.

Hmmm. I'm overclocked to 1.3Ghz and I only get around 1680 on Quadrant. But I haven't tried in performance mode. Oh well, my DX is fast enough for me... :)

If I recall, his screenshot showed something like 2490 quadrant, right? The only reason he sees that is because he enabled stagefright, which tricks quadrant. It's not a legitimate score. Your 1680, however, is, though at 1.3 GHz I'd expect it to be a bit higher.

boot into the bootstraper and install the ROM again without a wipe.. you will not lose your install apps or your settings but the system apps will go back to default

Ah ok that's what I suspected. We should probably add that in the OP or something or "themeing guide". The Toolbox app makes it look like you can just switch between themes, but you really can't. (For instance you lose the clock if you go from Vanilla to Liberty.)

It's too bad though - would have been awesome. Installing the ROM again I'll lose the app mods.... Anyway, thanks for the reply!

Its a 1.0 release it will get better as we work on it :)

Just saw this after i posted the same issue with mine. But is there theme by itself to install like other themes? Looked in Liberty Downloads folder and didn't see it.

Flash the mysterious beast theme then flash back. It will change your services.jar to what they should be and all your system stuff should be right.
Anybody have issuse with going back to Liberty theme after being on other themes? I had Vanilla Theme and went back to Liberty theme. Everything seem to go back except the Clock in notification was still black, couldn't see it at all.

Anybody else?

Just reinstalled the rom in order to get Liberty theme back, but had to uninstall apps that i didn't want again. no biggie really.

Yeah it would be nice if the default theme had all the files enough to reset everything back.

Yea, I had also tried going to Gingerbread theme too, but still same issue. No white clock.

Yeah before turning on stagefright (didn't know that made a difference, but figured something was inflating my number....still looks nice though) I was scoring just short of 1800. I have a buddy with a D2 scoring around 1300, but his phone runs flawlessly, I tell him not to worry about it.

So scanning through I noticed people have been complaining of ringtone issues. Finally got to that part of my customizing and realize I have it too. The tone selection screen is completely different than I have ever seen, is the selection defaulting to the wrong app or something? The only choice I have is to go to my music, or the default tone. All of the rest of the tones I have picked up over the months from different ROMs are gone....I miss them greatly. Has anybody found the issue with this yet?

Will that "fix" the fonts and icons too?

update, for the heck of it I went and installed a tone picker from the market, and in the screen where it prompts you to choose what program you want to run, only that new program and handcent were listed, the usuall default android system picker was not listed. Weird.

Actually, your best bet would be to flash the rom without wiping anything. This will reset everything. Icons, font colors, everything. If ever you have leftovers from the previous theme you can do this.

I'm running a lot of stuff... In any case my DX runs really smoothly with zero lag, so I'm happy. High benchmarks are nice, but real world performance is where the rubber meets the road.

You're absolutely right. I hadn't even run a benchmark test yet but you made me want to check. I set mine to actually run at 1.15 GHz for sh*ts and giggles and then ran it. I only ran it once so I'm not sure if it would actually average out higher, but I got a 1538. I am, however, running some additional tweaks as previously mentioned ;)

Edit: averaged to 1599 after multiple tests

Battery light on side of Droid 2

Love the ROM. What a pain reading through 66 pages. I didn't find an answer to the battery light issue. When you plug the Droid 2 in to charge, there is a light that comes on. It goes away when the battery is charged. It no longer works. Is this by design? Can it be fixed. Not a major issue but it would be nice to know I'm not the only one.

You should probably ask in the Droid2 thread. Just saying...

Didn't realize there was a Droid2 thread. I downloaded the rom from here and the title says "Your DroidX/2 Liberated!!!!". I just kind of went with it.

So where is the D2 thread?

Well that makes sense... This is actually in the DX ROM section of DroidForums, so this thread is for the DX. The DX doesn't have a charge light, so it will never work for the DX. Sorry, but I doubt you will have much luck finding an answer here. :greendroid:

D2 thread is here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/liberty-rom-d2/
