[ROM] VZW_2.4.5 - Stars Wars, No Star Wars, Clean & Super Clean

Thanks Motaboy for all the hard work. Did you happen to see what I asked about the black status bar for clean rom too?

May have missed it but I will get the black status bar up soon.

CP30 showed his stink gold ass again. If anyone sees him bouncing around the ROM can you tell me where so I can get rid of him...damn lightsaber was gettting repaired :P

C3PO shows up when you call somebody who is in your contacts but has no picture set.

I got it all fixed...just waiting to post the update in case it shows up in some other places.

Awesome. The black just looks so much better! Thanks!

Motaboy, I really can't stand waiting to download from file sharing sites. I own a pretty good webhost server, with multiple domains.

I would like to extend an offer to you, to host your rom files for you, so you can have a fast and reliable host with no download restrictions. For free of course.
Id give you full ftp and ssh access.

Let me know via PM, and we can talk.

This is why I love the internet. :D

This might be a dumb question, but when you say Version 2.4.5 is that the version of Android the ROM is based on or just the ROMs development version?

I think it's based more on the version of Motorola's release. The Android version is 2.2, but the System version is 2.4.5 because the R2D2 units have apparently come with both system versions, a 2.4.0 and a 2.4.5.

Thank you very much! I will PM you.

Yay...now I can put it up on ROM Manager too!

Thanks once again!

Revision has it right. It is Android 2.2 and the Verizon system version is 2.4.5.

Do I still need to install the swype fix if I've used the latest "clean" rom?

I am not sure if it made it in there or not. Just run it in case it has not :)

Stuck on "M" is there a quick way out or back?
Alt-Shift-Delete at the same time.

Did that, cant get past "M"

I assume you've tried a battery pull as well?

If so, and you're still stuck, next thing to try is wipe data/cache.

Turn off phone
Hold Power and X button at the same time
When the M logo appears release buttons
When the yellow triangle appears, press the search (magnifying glass) button on the keyboard
Use the volume key to go down to wipe data/factory reset
Select it w/the camera button

Reboot after wipe and see if you can get past the M and boot up - you'll need to re-activate your phone (select option 1 in the activation process) and sign into your Google account and your apps, etc., will automatically download/reinstall.

If wiping data/cache doesn't help, you may have to apply an SBF to recover, assuming you have a normal D2 and not an R2D2.
