[ROM] VZW_2.4.5 - Stars Wars, No Star Wars, Clean & Super Clean

Do you have a backup in CW Recovery?

If so you could try a few things to get into it and restore.

Otherwise time for the SBF thread... :)

I had a backup in clockwork recovery, but is there a way to get there besides the normal methods of pulling battery on boot? That isn't working for me.

Where are the instructions to sbf from a phone that won't boot up? I have another set of instructions that don't fit my situation.

Follow the SBF thread instructions, except for the first SBF file, to get the phone ready to accept it, you boot up into the bootloader.

Power on while holding the Up arrow on the keyboard.

When the M logo appears, let go of the buttons, and the bootloader screen will appear.

Connect via USB and the message USB Connected (or similar) should appear.

Then start the SBF flash process.

You can try this - probably won't work, but just takes a second to try:

1. Make sure you do NOT have an "update.zip" file on the root of your SD card
2. Boot into stock recovery (power/x, then search button)
3. Select apply update zip option
4. Will error out (since there's no update.zip file)
5. Select reboot option

If you get lucky, might boot in to CW Recovery.

Or this:

-Boot into stock recovery by holding X while powering up
-Hit the magnifying glass on the keyboard to open recovery menu
-Highlight reboot and hit "ok" on the keyboard
-When you get the "M" screen pull the battery
-Power back up

Again, no guarantee, and actually didn't work for me when I got stuck at the M logo a while back. I had to SBF as well...

So far this is what I have experienced... consider me a tester for ya MotaBoy.

I've installed this on three phones. Every experience was different.

One lost the ability to do Facebook via Motoblur. A factory reset seemed to fix that. Also, seems like the factory reset fixed the C3PO pic issue too. My plan moving forward is to do the install, as you say, step by step but do a factory reset (and phone reactivation) right after a confirmed successful install. Seems to work wonders. Just an FYI. If my theory is correct I think it also fixed the battery issue. I have yet to see that come back. Just my experience so far. Where are my black bar installs Mister!

Thanks for all this. This phone runs squeaky clean. If anyone is having weird issues just post and I'll let you know what I know. You da man MotaBoy!
