Oh yeah...so I was messing around with ROM after I flashed my version on last night. I went to check battery manager and it was working. So I was like this has to be a fluke. Rebooted...still working...whatever I did it was still working. So I was like guess I got lucky of fixed it some how in my personal version. When you posted about doing a hard reset from within Android it clicked that's what I did so I guess that it is why it works. You are running the Full ROM with Blur? Where is CP showing up for you? In messages and in contacts?

LOL no...I just had a name change I had a ROM section made so going to post the ROMs in there for now...Ang is short for my first name and it seemed to go good with Android

Who is AngDroid and what the hell is this? FYI after the part where you install the ROM and wipe cache and system/data you should put a "reboot" step in there and follow the standard setting up new system steps THEN followed by a factory reset (settings... etc) and the reboot and put settings in AGAIN....

Yeah the factory reset really fixes every problem people may be having. 4th install.

So I reinstalled the Super Clean ROM. Battery Manager worked great until I rebooted and installed the Black Status Bar Theme you provided. I followed the install instructions to a T and did the system reset in there as specified. Maybe the settings.apk is messed or something? Not really sure but for now that seems to be the only issue. My titanium backup worked like a charm this time .

The only other gripe I have is that my favorite theme NexTheme will not install over this ROM. I've tried it a couple of diff ways to no avail. .. Keeps going into an infinite boot loop. Oh well, I really liked the settings icons and the power control widget skin along with the notification bar. For now I will stick with the Black Status bar theme .

I went from Full to Super Clean, two factory resets in CW Recovery (but not in Android OS after boot up) and no battery FCs (yet).

There is a wipe data and cache step.

Is everyone wiping /system as well? I didn't think that was required, haven't been doing it for ROMs/themes I've been installing on my D2...

Unless it's been very recently updated, NexTheme is likely based on an earlier ROM...2.2.20 or 2.3.15, etc. This is 2.4.5 - applying any theme over a later ROM is likely going to get you into trouble. Best case you're "down-grading" a bunch of your apps to a previous version but things might still run, worst case you end up boot looping as you did.
