[ROM] Zen-MIUI v2 Android 2.2 + MIUI

I think I just found a "Major" issue..at least for me its "major"... camera feature doesn/t perform correctly. The Flash is intermittent, click on the back key sometimes gets you nowhere as well as selecting the picture you take once it gets moved over to the right side of camera app..Zen or Bg, can you check this out for me please. I use my camera a lot due to my Son and that may be my downfall to this ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS ROM...

Did you install the Galaxy theme or one of the other themes? This issue was brought up yesterday and the culprit seemed to be one of the themes.

Hang tight, I'm going to try to create a patch for your camera issue, give me a couple minutes. If it doesn't work then you might want to abandon that theme. Not sure what to tell you about the funky lock screen issue... that's a new one. Maybe something you did in the settings?

I'll have a patch to you in less than 5 minutes.

Nevermind. I was going to replace the Camera.apk from the Galaxy theme .zip with the one from the original ROM, but the Galaxy theme doesn't have a different version of the Camera.apk. I can still try it if you want, but I think your best bet is to abandon that theme and go stock Miui, or try a different theme.

Wow, A patch just for Moi..Why thank you..Talk about service huh:icon_ banana:..btw, with the lock screen, all I did was change the wallpaper and that issue started to happen:icon_eek:

I recently figured out how to create flashable zips by editing the files in other working .zips from ROMs/themes, it's actually really easy and fast to do for a really specific fix like that, so I don't mind doing it.

But unfortunately the idea I had for creating your patch is very unlikely to pan out, since the galaxy theme doesn't do anything with the Camera.apk. So it must be something in the framework or something like that, and that just becomes Chinese to me. I am NOT a developer or themer of any sort.

There is no doubt in my mind that that will work. Well... maybe a smidgen of doubt. But I just compared the original Miui with the Galaxy theme and reflashing without wiping will replace ALL of the themed files without exception. So you should be good.

EDIT: You might need to reflash the update as well after you flash the "OEM" Miui

Okay this is way off topic but I'm finishing my next version or MIUI and I really want to get some of the icons improved. Does anyone know of a good place or even have a good Gmail, Phone and contacts icon. Or a place for an icon pack?

The camera issue remains..If you take a pic then try to click on it to review it, you can't. You press the back key/all you get is the haptic feedback and gotta hit home key to get out of feature..This is w/stock MUIUI too

Weird. I've tested over and over and cannot replicate the issue. What ROM did you install over?

Somebody needs to implement a script that shows "Number of _" like the messaging icon will have a red circle like launcher pro showing how many messages you have. Ditto with phone/email/etc.
