Missed texts, emails, voicemails...etc

Somebody needs to implement a script that shows "Number of _" like the messaging icon will have a red circle like launcher pro showing how many messages you have. Ditto with phone/email/etc.....
What's everybody using for missed "stuff"? ...I don't have a green flashing light in the stock Rom for a "missed notification"

Go to settings > sound > trackball color

Change that to something other than white (default)

If it stays on solid after you change it unselect and reselect "pulse notification light".

so i noticed the the icon with the green arrow and Chinese is the roms updater app to do OTA updates natively, can that get translated, and is it possible to use that to update your rom (if that makes sense) i mean we are already running the rom right, why cant we update it directly from the miui team
or has if been heavily modded for use on droid

The camera issue remains..If you take a pic then try to click on it to review it, you can't. You press the back key/all you get is the haptic feedback and gotta hit home key to get out of feature..This is w/stock MUIUI too

You should take the camera apk out and add the cameragoogle apk from another rom. The included app is for a different device.

This makes a lot of sense...So for example, I could use the camera apk from ss4.8, How would I extract it w/out completely loading the rom then removing again???

Go to the rom file and open it with 7zip as an archive. Navigate to /system/app/whatever.apk and move that file to your desktop. Then either place that in the update.zip of this rom or place in another update.zip file under /system/app using the same method as before.

You can also use adb put if you are asking how to get the .apk out of the rom. I am not even going to go there.

I tried your advice but No improvement. It seems like something in this rom is stopping the camera app from working normally. When you take a pic then try to view it from the little small window, you cannot. Then when the back button is pressed, nothing happens.
