Can anyone help me understand why now the gallery and all other apps that use pictures only see half my picture folders now?

All were being sen earlier this day and now only a few

Any directions?

I have now found that if I choose Astro manager I can see and choose all my pics ' folders.
So Gallery isn't seeing all my pics/folders on the SDCard

You could try another gallery app, such a the 3D Gallery app from market...
Another thing to try, is possibly try syncing pics with a PC, and see if that straightens things out...

My only problem is that some app's/widgets automatically pull from Gallery the default pic app.
I have not found any way to redirect like the Slide widget to name one, and I should be able to figure out why?
I wonder if it was from the installation of PowerAmp (WinAmp)?

I like their audio program but I just cant seem to figure out what happened all was working well until it wasn't.

So, did you try the suggestion of grabbing 3d gallery, to see if it sees everything ok? Don't care what your preference is, just trying to get more info about the problem to try to fix it...

No I am sorry I have not, becuase I am backing up my 32gb SDCard and it appears that will take a bit.
I am planning to but since I can use Astro File Manager and see, and or use all my pictures would that not show that its the default gallery app?

Also I have found that the default gallery app is pulling from the device root | mnt folder not the SDCard where all my pictures are located .


I will install a 3d gallery app from the market when my card is fully backed up onto my PC...

Its saying about 8 hours to go... Kinda seems ling but since I am using a USB card reader maybe thats right?

HDMI not working.. I cannot get an output from HDMI at all after installing this ROM (Which is awesome by the way). I have Real HDMI installed (I un-installed and re-installed) but it still shows HDMI Status: Disabled. I also do not see a menu option under settings for HDMI.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

For what its worth this my battery life experience. Whenever I restart my phone I get double cell standby time and 50% is always without signal. I put the phone into airplane mode for a minute and then its cool.

Overall I think battery life is a little worse than stock. I run no battery saving tools, task killers, watch dog, juice defender, etc. I installed this over stock and run no themes. I am not overclocked.

If there is anything I can do to help troubleshoot the cell standby issue or the battery life let me know. Overall I am loving this rom. Thanks!

I've run into this same issue with the battery life and the standby time issues. I've wiped the system data and cache and reinstalled the rom a couple of different times and tried several different things to see if it would improve the issue but nothing seems to have helped.

I've seen this mentioned a time or two in the thread without any real information about it. Is this a known issue with the ROM or is something else going on?

I've not heard of anyone successfully getting blur text messaging app to work on Focused/Fission. To my knowledge, it doesn't work.

The contacts app that comes with Focused will "Join" contacts.
Open a contact, go to Menu> Edit contact
when editing a contact, hit Menu> Join.

Yes, I have it hooked up to my Sony Bravia TV. It also worked when I was running stock and also when I had Flyx ROM. Not quite sure what to check since there is no HDMI menu under settings. I will try it on another TV but since Real HDMI says HDMI Disabled under status I am not sure if anything will work.

Sephtin- yup, that was the first thing I tried. No good. Also, someone suggested I uninstall market updates through manage apps, but I don't have the option.

Also, im sorry if this had been asked before, but how can I get "Me" in the messaging app to be tied to my facebook acct? I.e to auto update my pic?

For the market issue, if it e won't straighten itself out I guys you can reinstall Focused, just don't wipe data/cache

To link profiles, select one of them, go to Menu, and look for join... It will JOIN then however...

thanks for your help sephtin, I didn't know about the join feature. ok so I did a reflash and still was getting the same error, and discovered that it only occured after XMarket installation from Xpired 1.1. I confirmed this by pulling Vending.apk from the rubix zip and adb pushing it on top of XMarket's vending.apk, which fixed my issue, but now I don't have a themed market. I'll take the issue up with Rola/Jsinlegacy.

must be rooted.
download droid x bootstrapper hit bootstrap recovery.
in rom manager make sure clockworkmod is flashed.

Then download the ROM, check backup for safe keeping, wipe data,catche, your good to go I believe..
