yes i just looked at the prior posts of the past lil bit and mine is doing the same thing his is...everything is followed by the directions and i even went in astro and seen the file and it is update.zip to make sure 100 percent

It's starting to sound like something screwed up during your SBF flash, but I am by no means an expert at SPRecovery errors and issues. Maybe someone else can help out or has some ideas.

If you're seeing update.zip in Astro it's update.zip.zip because Astro supplies the file extension automatically.

it says "update" in the sd but when i go into the actual description of the file that is what it says is update.zip

and i reran sprecovery like 5 diff times trying it and it still didnt work...lol...cause every time u go back to boot ur phone back up u have to flash it again to try putting the update.zip in

You're sure it's on the root and not in a folder named root, right? (Not trying to sound condescending, just trying to make sure everything is where it should be before we try to find out why it's not working like it should be.)

yes i am 100 percent positive bro...lol....i made sure like 10 times...right when i open my sd card from my pc i put it right in there so u can see it...i didnt put it no folder or anything.....now it is towards the bottom but i doubt that makes a difference...lol

and also another discovery if u name it wrong it will not show up as the books like as in winrar..it will show up as a white lil sheet of paper or something like that..lol... so it is def spelled right also haha

i had read in post before that if you switch the sdcard it might work..but i already gave up in rooting

i have a diff one but it only 1 gig......unless i can root it and then take that sd card out and still use the one i have..that possible?
