rubiX Focused 1.6

OMG this ROM flies!!! Thanks for all your hardwork Drod!! dancedroiddancedroid

Just wanted to mention that I'm experiencing the same problems with the ROMs underclocking. It constantly reboots anytime I try to do something. Have gone back to 1.0 till the patch is up.

had the same issue, but if you get DX/D2 overclocker, you can install stock settings

Drod already said he's uploading a patch later today with the fix. I'm just gunna wait for that.

Will visual voice mail work with this ROM?
What is the best way to install LauncherPRO and remove ADB?

I am not trying to be rude here but why pay to use VVM? Google Voice can be used to take care of your voice-mail, even without a Gvoice number, and not only will it allow you to playback your voice mail from within the GVoice app you can also access your voice-mail from voice.google.com on your computer. Oh and the Google voice app will even transcribe the messages for you all this and its friggin free!

IMHO Google Voice is much much better than VVM

Currently, VVM will NOT work with Focused.

To install launcher Pro, and remove ADW..
--Install Launcher Pro
--Rename ADWLauncher.apk in /system/app.

:)

Compass Calibrate still does not work
Nor does 3G HotSpot

stock volt patch
http://bit.ly/bs58qw

ONLY RUN THIS PATCH IF YOU DOWNLOADED BEFORE 12:51 PM EST ON NOVEMBER 1ST, it is updated in the rom and not needed if downloaded after

Maybe you should create a new thread with this update in it, so people can find it easier!

Or at the very least add the link to the OP

Easier to update the 2nd post on my phone. I keep forgetting I have my own section! Doh. Wish I could make stickies, etc :/

I also have a Google voice account, will the VM's be separated in some way?
Will callers who call my cell hear my Verizon VM greeting or my Google voice greeting?

When you set up Google Voice, it gives you the option to set it up as your default voicemail. If you set it as your voicemail, it will replace VVM. And then you just go to google.com/voice to do any additional setup you may need.

How soon until the Juicer themes are compatible with 1.6? Should I just give it a go and hope everything works?

I am so lazy though... I want to wait for the Juicy themes to be "officially" compatible anyway.

I'm downloading the rom now, Ill throw up a new thread once I get a working theme going. dancedroid

It appears as tho my themes still work with 1.6 but you lose the 10% battery increments, which for my battery icon doesn't really matter anyways. If you want to wait, its ok. If not just install one of my old themes. I'm still working on a theme with 10% increments, just finishing up the icons now actually. Haven't had a chance to install the ROM yet, so don't expect it today, probably tomorrow :icon_ banana:

Your themes are fantastic. So stoked for the 10% increments and 1.6 version. If I wasn't a poor college student, I would absolutely donate to you and drod for creating the best Droid X themes and ROMs out there. Thank you so much!

So the VM greeting would be the same for people calling my GV number and my VZW number? That would not work for me, I use GV for a work number, it needs a different greeting.

Under "Settings --> Call Settins --> Voicemail service"

You will find the option to choose what service you want to use if you choose "Google Voice" your phone will use only Google Voice's voicemail.. So when someone calls they will be sent directly to your google voice account when they go to VM and nothing else.
