Compass Calibrate still does not work
Nor does 3G HotSpot

stock volt patch
http://bit.ly/bs58qw

ONLY RUN THIS PATCH IF YOU DOWNLOADED BEFORE 12:51 PM EST ON NOVEMBER 1ST, it is updated in the rom and not needed if downloaded after

Still getting syntax error when trying to apply volt patch....Once I'm booted I'm using JRummy's OC app but it's kind of a pain having to reset everytime I boot

Should I be ok to load the whole ROM again with out wipe to get the stock voltage on my DX?

Or, you can just delete the /system/xbin/lowvolt.sh file...

Thanks for the info! I read about that a couple of pages back... I just did a fresh install with wipe of the new version (didn't have too many apps) so no biggie!

To the person asking about the USB problem:
1. Plug the phone in to the computer via the USB cord
2. Go into Settings -> SD Card & Phone Storage
3. Unmount the SD Card
4. Turn off the phone
5. Turn on the phone
6. Your computer should now recognize the phone and your phone should now have the standard USB options

For the apps, I would recommend using Titanium Backup. The free version is good for backup/restore or apps and app data (I don't do system data since it breaks things sometimes). The paid version is even better, since you don't need to manually say it is ok to install apps.

+100, esp. if you are constantly flashing the latest roms. only do user apps as well after too many issues with system backups :)

Usually I use titanium when I have a lot of apps but I cleaned out my app drawer before loading 1.0 so I only had about 10 apps so the auto restore took about 2 mins once I switched over to WIFI

Now on my D1 I have over 60 apps so I aways use titanium! :)

Ahh, I see. I don't have WiFi at work (where I do most of my ROM installs), so I need that SD card backup.

Under "Settings --> Call Settins --> Voicemail service"

You will find the option to choose what service you want to use if you choose "Google Voice" your phone will use only Google Voice's voicemail.. So when someone calls they will be sent directly to your google voice account when they go to VM and nothing else.

Sorry, not trying to be dense here. So if I use GV for VVM on my VZW phone, will it have the same greeting as someone who calls my GV number directly?

I believe so, not 100% sure if you can change the greeting by the number DIALED.. I know you can change it by the number they're calling FROM (who's calling)...

Get a second GV number. do a conditional forward from your phone (*71<10digitnumber>). Set up the greeting on the GV number for your cell phone greeting.
No one needs to know that new GV number. It will only get called when you don't answer the cell.

i skip the google sign-in the first time, pull up the power widget, and disable autosync. after that i sign in, dl titanium from the market, run my restores, then re-enable autosync.

This ROM is amazing...This weekend I was toying with getting rid of LPP for ADW because of all the lag =(...now I dont have to dancedroiddancedroid
