Is there a way to shut off the shutter sound for the camera? I know apex has a script for it. Didn't know if there was something similar here or something I can do via root explorer.

Safe to assume its in the build.prop?

I've read all 80 some pages but don't remember seeing any issues with the custom battery manager. I can select custom but when I try to edit it it just sends me back to the main settings screen. Any ideas?

Carryover issue from 1.0. Still exists, battery manage being wonky...

So I just switched from ApeX to RubiX and I really like this ROM. Seems to be a little snappier, and I love the 10% battery increments.

There's only two problems I've noticed with this ROM:

1) The multitouch keyboard is not included, so it doesn't have the speech to text option for texting, Gtalk, etc.

2) I've already read some others having this problem with Gmail not syncing properly. I know people are saying this is a Google/Gmail/Android issue, but I never had this problem with the stock Froyo build or the ApeX ROM.

Great job on the ROM, hopefully these things can be addressed in the next update.

1) Multi-Touch kbd: http://www.sephtin.com/rubiX/rubixFocused-PATCH-DefaultFocusedKeyboard.zip

2) Sync is not checked by default.
Menu> Accounts> Your google account, make sure "Sync Gmail" is checked.

If that's not it:
Did you restore from backup? That's usually the cause of this, I believe.
2 things to try: wipe data/cache for the gmail app
Menu> Settings> Applications> Manage Applications> all tab> Gmail>
force stop, wipe data, wipe cache.

If that doesn't work, uninstalling, and reinstalling the gmail app has been reported to work.

Let us know if that doesn't solve the issue(s).

I hate to ask a stupid question before I do a lot of searching, but what's the big differences between this and the Fission ROM since this ROM waont be getting regular updates?

Does anyone have the Fission .zip file to add "reboot" to the power button menu? It works great on Focused, but I accidentally deleted it and it's no long on the Fission page as it's been integrated into the ROM.

Nope, select "install zip from sd card", and then choose zip, should be rubixfocused16.zip or something like that

Anyone know where to get the MT keyboard? I thought I saw it here but can't seem to find it. I'm working on a new theme for the update. ..I searched up to page 10 .... I also checked sephtin.com as well and didn't see it..maybe I AM getting old. (blind)
