rubiX Focused 1.6

It didn't like removing the lowvolt file and then trying to install the ROM. Maybe that's not how I was supposed to do it =(

Install rom first, then delete low volt.

The included default low volt is working great for me. But I want to overclock but need to know if it will conflict etc. also trying to get rid of rounded corners and trying to connect facebook pics to contacts. Thanks for any help! And thanks again drod for another amazing rom.

Considering Drod mentioned that he was running 1.6 overclocked at 1.2 GHZ, I'm pretty sure you can overclock easily :) Just change the voltages and frequencies in lowvolt.sh and you're good to go... just make sure you know what works lol... What I'm doing in my experimentation is I created a seperate file, setscaling100.sh, and I'm adjusting that and applying it until I find something stable. Once I do, I'll change the lowvolt.sh file to match those and won't have to worry about running the script anymore.

Do we search lowvolt on the SD card somewhere or delete it from the zip file on the SD and reboot?

I can upload an edited version when I get home, but the easiest way for you guys running it to do it, is just delete lowvolt.sh and reboot

edit: I didn't realize how many people this affected. Sorry guys, i'm going to upload a patch for those running it and replace the current download link when I get home from school (actually upload over it instead to keep the same link)

My 2 cents...be patient and let Drod get his link up...just saying :)

Quick question... I can still use JRummy's overclock app to set what settings I like correct? Can I also change the voltage through there or am I stuck on what comes on the ROM as far as that goes?

Thanks in advance

Anything you do with the overclock app will override what is baked into the rom.

Just installed an hour ago. It is working great with the default underclock settings. I am going to let it run as is for a day or two.

Yeah I just went from 1.0 to 1.6, been running LV @ 1.45ghz without any issues now for over a week. 1.0 screamed and so far (just installed 12 hours ago) 1.6 is been even better. I get about 1800 on quadrant scores.

I installed 1.6 over 1.0 without a wipe and had no problems. I also edited lowvolt.sh prior to the upgrade since I know what values work for me.

Wow! I just got settled into 1.0! Thanks for the new release. Can email in Exchange accounts be moved in the Email app in this release?

This issue still exists. Same Mail app (built from source)...

Wow, redundant answer. I wasn't aware this thread was 9 pages already o_O. I'll compile list of ?'s/answers kinda before just auto responding I guess :S lol

FYI. Rubix 1.0 to 1.6 - did wipe Data/Cache.
Noticed that ADWLauncher is default (wasn't Launcher2 default on 1.0?)
As I re-setup ADW, I had several lockups requiring battery pulls. I modified the lowvolt.sh file to put max_vsel to 56 (I also changed this on the line referencing 100000000.
Seems to be stable at that rate. May play with clock/voltage another time, but the undervolt was not working for my X.

Also, I installed Sephtins Blackbar mod and that seems to be working as well.

You should add an extra warning about the underclock, since the issue is more common than originally thought.
