Regarding Battery

I was having alot of battery drain issues from 1.8.6 to 1.8.9, I formatted my phone and then installed blackhats 30.04 bootloader update then installed rubiX 1.9.3 and man my battery is lasting too long lol. Those are just my two cents. For those thinking about installing blackhats update be very careful and read the direction 1000 times because i didnt and almost fully bricked my phone lucky was able to fix it but ya.

The release is nearly ready. More bug testing, and I want every one who's theming to be caught up. Who want's the rom with no themes? Can't be having that... Every themer I know of has a copy (waiting for Juice to get back from vacation/family time to get him his copy) but it's final. Done for the most part. 3 reports of being at 50% after 10 hours

Yeah that's my X screen. I use an app called wallpaper set and save to maintain the highest wallpaper quality, desktop visualizer for my icons, which are the HD icons on xda, battstatt, and beautiful weather. I just use launcher pro to hide the notification bar. Rubix Focused. No theme.

Are you experiencing any app incompatibility? I was reading threads about the update and some people were having force close issues. It was enough to scare me away lol.

Me neither! I just took my phone off the charger and after 40min my battery is already down 10% I'm only running at 1ghz at 54vsl... :-( I'm contemplating upgrading to the leaked firmware update.

If you go to the leak, don't do it because of battery. Battery issues are fixed in the next rubiX release and you do NOT have to be on the leak to run it.

Edit: Also, it's normal to go down to 90% pretty quickly. It should be the fastest drop you see. It shows 90% for anything from 86 to 95%.... Only shows 100% for 96 to 100%.

Im having no issues on the leak with any of my apps from the market. Phone is all stock 2.3.320 leak now waiting on Rubix update and its great. Whatever radio changes they made have drastically improved my reception. Battery life is great and not that it matters but stock voltage is scoring 1300+ on that benchmark app. Been very pleased with the leak and if you follow the directions to the letter its literally 4 steps and takes five minutes. It was my first leak and I managed so anyone can. Been off charger for 6 hours of almost continuous screen on use and I'm at 80% still. It did drop to 90% within the first hour but had held on since very well. I recommend the leak to anyone that likes to tinker.

This is great information to hear! I still don't think applying the leak without a way back is for me just yet, but good to know that when that way back is available, it'll be worth doing.

im tryin to install rubix from rom manager, but after it downloads and reboots to install rom its gets 25% of the way install then and ! appears in the triangle and reboots to stock..anything that i am doing wrong...
