The release is nearly ready. More bug testing, and I want every one who's theming to be caught up. Who want's the rom with no themes? Can't be having that... Every themer I know of has a copy (waiting for Juice to get back from vacation/family time to get him his copy) but it's final. Done for the most part. 3 reports of being at 50% after 10 hours

Well I have no doubt it will be worth the wait. I tried several of the popular roms and yours was by far the most perfect fit for my needs. Glad to have guys like you around that make good phones great. Looking forward to the post and the continued improved battery life. Being stuck on the leak feels a little better knowing it's definitely on the way..lol.

Can't wait for the next release. For some reason my custom configurations for my kernels are so screwy. I don't think Droid X Overclocker likes me. It keeps freezing sometimes at my top overclock speed (killing my battery) and I feel like the profiles aren't activating correctly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I think I'm doing everything right.

I've messed with the 3G Hotspot app a bit, and noticed a few things. I'm sure that you (and other devs that are way more knowledgeable than me) have seen this as well, but I want to check anyway...

When I tried to install it as an APK in ADB, I got an error "INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIBLE", which pretty much means that the signature on the APK isn't matching the rest of the system apps.

Just to test it out, I decompiled the app using apktool, then went into the manifest and removed the android:sharedUserId="android.uid.system" attribute, and recompiled the app. I was then able to install it on the device, just like any other APK, but it crashed on startup.

I also tried to simply re-sign the original APK using my keystore, but got the same "INSTALL_FAILED_SHARED_USER_INCOMPATIBLE".

But since you built this ROM from scratch, do you by any chance have the keys that were used to sign the system APKs? And have you tried using those keys to re-sign the 3G APK?

Yeah that's my X screen. I use an app called wallpaper set and save to maintain the highest wallpaper quality, desktop visualizer for my icons, which are the HD icons on xda, battstatt, and beautiful weather. I just use launcher pro to hide the notification bar. Rubix Focused. No theme.

It allows you to use bigger wallpapers, and eliminates that banding effect when you scroll through screens.
