ok my 2.3.320 system only sbf worked fine. Here is what i did

(this is for people who updated to the 2.2.1 (2.3.320) leak only)

*turn the phone off by pulling the battery out and make sure you dont have the usb plugged in.
*put you battery in
*hold home and power button down at the same time until you see the droid with an exclamation mark above his head.
*press the search button on you phone to pull up menu.
*wipe data and cache
*when it is finished pull the battery again and put it back in
*hold the camera button, vollume down button and power button until you enter the bootloader screen
*now plug your phone back up to your computer
*open rsd lite 4.8 and preform the 2.3.320 system only sbf (takes a while)

3 mins until my sbf (2.3.320 system only) is uploaded.

well i think im screwed ive had to do this a few times and never had this happen guess ill be calling verizon for a replacement

Can you get into the bootloader or stock recovery?

Well I'm back in the game My boss really needs to get me a new computer. It took FOREVER to download and SBF.... and the cmputer was working so hard during the SBF I couldnt load on to the forum...lol

im stuck on the same screen i was before i ran the sbf i ran that it runs fine but i cant get past that screen and no i never installed the leak

Can you tell me what exact screen you are on?

Ok does it show any errors?

When you do a battery pull does it go strait back to that bootloader screen?
If so can you get to the stock recovery screen by holding down home and power button when you put the battery back in?

If so re run the sbf. You are using RSD lite 4.8 right?

well it could be worse...just have to wait for RSD and the sbf to download...sigh oh well...

I know there are plenty of helpful people in this forum but i need to thank, publicly, tx3kgtman, for guiding me through the SBF process. I know now it wasnt a difficult process but i had never done it before and i was afraid to turn my phone into a paperweight.

lol... well i got passed that part... is there something wrong with z4root? It says that its not available under the market and appbrain.

anyone have an apk file they would like to share?

i have never had so much trouble sbf'ing and rooting since i first got this phone
