Protip: Save the z4root apk to your SD Card to always have it handy when flashing a new ROM. (I also save the Bootstrap Recovery to my SD Card.)

yea i have a ton of apk's saved to a folder on my phone and i never really looked around for z4root. i took the market for advantage too much.

I am on Rubix 1.8.9 and have used these roms since .5 Almost daily when I slide to unlock my phone it will hang half way across and then do a soft reboot.. Anyone have this issue besides me ?

This is a known issue with Froyo on the Droid X, not the ROM or theme. You can get the no lock app to fix it or you can just deal with a soft reboot once a day or two... Up to you.

Edit: Additionally, things like overclocking, undervolting, or changing LCD density can exacerbate the situation.
