The screen you are stuck on says which bootloader you are running. You can solve this simply by looking there. If it says 30.01 then you are right to sbf using 2.1, but if it doesn't then that was your problem. Get the correct sbf and do it again.

Leak 2.2 is not OTA 2.2.
--Going to the OTA (the Over The Air from Verizon...) will put you on the 30.03 bootloader, and the 2.1 SBF will no longer work.
--Going to a leak version of 2.2 will update .. well, almost everything except the bootloader, and you will still be able to .sbf to 2.1.

That's what I thougt I was ok considering I've already done it I just tried like 3 times today with the same results

I know there's a lot of answers and this is just adding to the noise but it really sounds like you need to use the 2.2 SBF. It doesn't matter what SBF you used before, we don't care. What matters is what you are currently running (OTA 2.2 from what you said). That's what has me baffled I used the 2.1 before after already being on 2.2 it took me back to 2.1 I did the ota then rooted I've done this several times I just don't understand why its not working now

yea i did all of that an when it rebooted and its stuck on that screen been that way for the past 5 min or sodid you wipe data/cache?
reboot to the stock recovery (power and home) and wipe data/cache.
I would try it again... if wiping data/cache fails again, it's very possible it was a bad download... Only way out that I know of, is to .sbf, and try again. Check the download, make sure it's .. I think it's 79mb?

The old SBF you made was meant to take you back from the old leaked 2.2 back to 2.1. When Motorola/VZW sent out the OTA, it also secretly changed the bootloader, rendering your old SBF useless.
