thanks for the screenies seph! i read most of the pages, but im looking for the backup script. I have the link saved on my other computer, but im currently in the car on my wife's computer so i dont have it.

So, I installed and ran this script on my previous ROM. Was notified in the terminal that the backup was complete. Have now flashed rubiX 1.9.5. How do I get the script to reinstall the backed up apps? (Yes, per the instructions, I have rebooted after install and initial setup.)

I was wondering if someone might be able to make a .zip for the small keyboard in the themed 1.9.5. I want to use the Linear theme but I actually like the smaller keyboard better than the one it comes with. Thanks in advance I would really appreciate it!

Rubix Wallpaper

I downloaded the stock GB rom and changed the wallpaper. How do I get back the default rubix wallpaper. I cannot find it anywhere.

I installed the stock gingerbread themed rom. I found the 3g mobile hotspot in this rom. I wondered if this app is the same one that Verizon provides. Does it mean that Rubix1.9.5 containes blur or Drod2169 found way to make blur apps work without blur? I also found Darkslide 4.1 blurless rom also provides 3g mobile hotspot and FM. Blurless Darkslide4.1 actually containes blur?
How is the process that FM work under aosp rom? Impossible?

From the RubiX folder on SD card:

Connect your phone to your PC and select "Phone as Modem". You will get a notification that internal data will be disabled. Open Network and Sharing Center and create a new DialUpNetworking connection and configure as follows:
User Name: [email protected] where the Xs are your 10 digit MDN.
Password: vzw
Number to Dial: #777

Save and hit connect and you're done.

Thanks. But what I care is the wifi hot spot function and fm radio. I need them both so I use apex before. Because I need fm to follow news. Darkslide contains both but I don't like its theme,I love rubix more.

Wifi hot spot works. FM Radio I'm not sure.

I'm sure they'll pop up sooner or later but the themed version looks like any of the Gingerbread themes & the stock looks like a stock ROM.

Can you please confirm that you were on 2.3.340 before you loaded the ROM?
Usually this is because the libs(ROM) aren't compatible with the kernel(bootloader) you're using.

This ROM does not have those issues if you're on 2.3.320/2.3.340.

I am at Rubix
1.8.9 and when I try to reboot to upgrade, the phone keeps locking up. Tried with clockwork and the "stock way" I want to get to 1.9.5

1.8.9 was for 2.3.15. You need to go back to stock and upgrade to 2.3.340 to get the latest bootloader for 2.3.340.

BUT, the reason you're locking up, is because you need to wipe data/cache from any older version of Focused, to go to 1.9.5.

They found a way to make it work. FMRadio does not work.

music and video works fine for me..

I went from the stock rom to rubix 1.9. never did the leak update and then just wiped data/cache before installing 1.9.5 and now no audio? when i went into about phone i couldnt see anything about .320 or .340
