rubiX Focused 1.9.7, back and better than ever

Do I need to re-run this if i install a theme or something?

Yes, themes usually overwrite the services.jar so you have to reinstall post theme unless the theme dev includes it. (wish they would)

Actually, for anyone that does much config/changing/etc. of wireless settings, this is a huge problem. Hidden ssid's don't reconnect, so this menu is really needed for someone who has an AP with a hidden ssid, etc.

This is why most devs won't include it by default...

Son of a ....

That's why I have to force reconnect on my wifi at home?????

Oh well, I use 3g at work much more than wifi at home, so I can deal with this.

This is an awesome ROM. But i have problems with the syncronization of the facebook contacts in my contact´s directory. Anybody is expecting the same problem?

I ran quickclock and clicked recalibrate. I would have assumed that it would calibrate correctly, however, it went as far as -120 vsel and still had not crashed the phone. Was at 115 degrees when I finally got too uncomfortable and clicked cancel. I want to make sure I get the most out of it, but after that last run I don't know that my phone is taking to it correctly. Anyone else have this problem?

Wipe the app data, make sure it has root privileges, then rerun the calibration. Shoot me a PM if it gives you any further problems.

Well, all went well for my install. All galleries work fine. Camera and videos work just fine. Scripts work fine. QuickClock worked fine....only rebooted once during testing.

I guess I'll still have to use TB to restore date for some apps though.

So far I'm experiencing the great work that I have come to expect from DRod.

ROFLMAO @ gallery problems...

If I recall, when RubiX first started incorporating the 3D gallery, people *****ed and moaned about wanting the 2D one. Every release of RubiX since Focused 1.0 I've seen complaints on the gallery. So Drod finally caves in and gives you all the 2D gallery you've been asking for, and now you realize it isn't so hot after all. LOL! Just for the record Drod, I like 3D Gallery :)

With all due respect, no one was "asking for" a 2D gallery that doesn't work right.

With all due respect, that's why I included the option to swap them out :) I never said the 2D gallery would function correctly, I haven't tested it myself. I meant to make the 3D the default but figured If there were issues, they could be easily resolved by swapping the apps.

Blur gallery isn't happening. Blur period will not be in focused. Its not the direction for focused. Focused is meant to be as blurless as possible, which is why I didn't include a script for the dx camera.

And I'm not sure which test version 2d was made default.. but I know I took plenty of pics and use the gallery several times on 1.9.7 test versions... and I didn't have problems.. (Probably on 3d gallery.. which I prefer anyway)..
Choice is a good thing. :)

Has anybody figured out how to get Quickclock to work? For some reason it keeps wanting to test 1500 MHZ which my phone can't handle at all :(

Drod with my first post what I meant be rubix blur was there were apps included that I did not want or need that could not be uninstalled, kinda like moto blur. Sorry to say but I had to go back to liberty until the gallery is fixed. Also when viewing pics I could not use my fingers and stretch the page to zoom.

Ok, I'll bite...
What apps can't be removed?
And which Gallery were you using? 2d, or 3d? Did they both have those issues?

After installing blue gingerbread theme for 1.9.7 I lost the GB keyboard. Any ideas?
Nevermind....I just figured it out. I am only slightly retarded.

Love rubiX! Hate GB notification icons like the battery, 3G, Bluetooth, signal.

I like the color of the lockscreen pattern.

rubiX FTW!

Gotta change sig, again.
