Sbf on the way

My D2G is currently stuck on M screen and there isn't any way for me to download the app... is there ANY other way to access the sbf file? I've been without my D2G for the last several days and I really don't want to wait til it is available in the forum...

Would sending it back be a smart idea? (I've had my D2G for less than 2 weeks)

I think what he means is you'll have to wait for the release into the wild instead of the one just on the app. It'll be a few days, per PC's quote and CZ's original post.

You broke it, you bought it. Do not send it back, that's insurance fraud. Wait for the SBF to be released freely into the wild.

Yeah I think Im just going to wait...

but would flashing actually solve this issue that I have for sure? Because I initially thought factory reset would work but it didn't.. and if it is fixed, would everything wiped from the phone? is it similar to hard reset?

Sorry I'm kind of new at this.

The SBF will restore the phone too 100% out of the box stock.

Just want to make sure... droid 2 Global sbf is available on the TBH app but there's no way to get it onto a droid 2 global if the phone is bricked even if you have another droid phone?

The app only shows system files for the model of phone it's installed on.

If you have a friend with a functional D2G you could get it off that, but I don't know how TBH would look upon that.

With luck the SBF will be up -- CZ said that there was a server error last night that prevented the upload.

What if I install the D2G rom onto my droid x? would that fake the app thinking I have a droid 2 global and give me the sbf?

An idea!

Have had an idea,dunno if this gonna work!
Let say you have 2 google account on seperate phone(ie:d2 and d2g)and your d2g was bricked,but the d2 isn't,how about adding that one google account from the d2g to d2 (is there a possibility?)..and from d2 you can put/transfer it to your computer using usb..and there you can do rsd flash your sbf on your d2g.....So what do you think,this might...or not???!!

This is just my idea,anyway i don't have problem w/ my D2G...it's working FLAWLESSLY!!
And oh..To clarify this...This is for those ppl w/ bricked D2G and w/ TBH app!

The TBH app is only gonna show you the D2G sbf files if you're accessing it from a D2G.
