Sbf on the way

Ha no no... that's not how I bricked it. I tried installing a d2g fission rom and that's what killed it.

I only asked about installing d2g rom onto a droid x because I've seen people install android on their windows phones like the HD2 from tmobile. It's probably a different process...

A file you flash (install) onto a motorola phone via a windows-only program called rsd lite. It replaces/reinstalls the software on the phone, usually with stock.

This came from my brain by way of my finger and my phone. Don't ask where any of them have been. Especially the brain.

My husband has a Droid 2 Global running the latest OTA (system version 2.4.330). I noticed that the SBF is for Blur Version 2.4.29. What system version is the SBF for? Just want to double check so we don't end up bricking.

Ok. I donated through the Market and installed the TBH application. When I start the app, I get two files. One says "System and Boot image SBF" and one says "Full SBF File". Both have Blur Version 2.4.29 and both state Droid 2 Global. I downloaded both, but I am unsure which I will need. So I just need some clarification.

P.S. I dont use Windows or Mac, just Linux. I found these instructions for flashing the SBF from within a Linux environ. Hope it helps.
