Seidio 2600mAh extended battery

Well apparently I can't trust either system or battery left to tell me when I actually have a full battery.. I know it only charged for like an hour and a half to two yesterday and it was fully charged according to both but it just died 10 hours into the battery..

if you go to battery left and look at battery info, look for the mv to hit 4200 then it is fully charged
even after it hits 100% it will continue to add more power.

seems to work well, a good at least 18 hours.. so many problems with the battery meter, and battery left.. been an absolute pain to calibrate, but the long life seems to be worth it.. i do a lot of reboots, etc though, so im going to try to fully calibrate it today. i did find that if the stock battery meter gets too low, it does shut the phone off.

Windstrings-- Which battery are you currently using and how does it compare to the OEM version?

Its this battery Innocell 2600mAh Extended Life Battery and it works GREAT! Its unbelievable how much extra power the battery provides. It feels like it lasts forever.

Thanks!!! I really do believe I'm going to need more juice. Now to find the best deal out there. I've seen the setup for down around $52 on line. I think I'll also be looking into the docking station at home as well. Now all I need to decide on is a Bluetooth ear piece.

I'm using the extended 2600mah Seidio battery.

Battery left showed 54% this morning when I finally reached 5% with the system reading.

What was disturbing is I was down to about 25% or so with battery left and I rebooted and it too showed higher voltage... however it was false.... watching the mv reading was more accurate as when it hit 3.6 and started to go to 3.59 and below I soon lost my battery around 6:00pm tonight... I got over 30 hours out of it.

Battery left seemed really accurate till the reboot.
I had an app go bad and I had to reboot..... twas weatherbug.

anyway, I'm charging back up now and provided I don't reboot I do think battery left is pretty accurate.. but I"m still only on "moderate" for accuracy....

These extended batteries last so long, this is quite a trip.
I was serious when I said it might take a week to get battery left calibrated all the way to "excellent" status.

I've seen some praises for Battery Left at a couple of other places on the forum. I'm still on the OEM battery and also have another battery check program just for comparison purposes. Batt-Left tends to show the battery draining faster than does the other program and the Droid in-house special. I'll leave it on the phone and see how it goes.

As for the battery upgrade itself, I'll be shopping for the best deal as I won't really need it until May when thinngs get really busy with my volunteer work.
