Sirius XM Android app is here

That's what I was told.

Of course, I was told that by someone who also told me something was not possible, when 2 hours later it was done for me; so I'm not really sure I believe it anymore.

Ok.... I think I might have figured out why I can not listen. Could someone please let me know if I am right???. Even though I have a Lifetime membership with free online listening, I would need to purchase the premium package for $2.99 a month. Is that correct? Is there a way to listen. online through the Droid? Sorry if this was already addressed...
thanks!
Mike

Tha nks all. Yes even if you have lifetime membership which includes pc online listening. A $2.99 monthly is needed to use the Droid ap.

just downloaded the app and upgraded my sirius service.

this is great, i get some of the xm channels that my car doesnt get.

also, it works on more than one device at the same time:icon_ banana:

I had a long test run today. I had a 90 minute round trip with Sirius/XM running minimized in the background and Navigation running on the screen. I turned the volume off on the nav, because even at it's lowest volume setting, it cut the music out every time it needed to announce a turn. Muting the Nav worked perfectly. I had a total of 4 times where Sirius/XM lost signal, and each time it came back without any action by me. Sometimes it did take quite a while to come back, but it did come back. Usually I'll get 4 or 5 losses of signal in a 10 minute drive. The difference this time was that I had it minimized in the background. This isn't ideal for me because you have to be quick to catch the name of the next song as it shows up in the status bar. If I'm not running the Nav I would prefer to have the app up on the screen so I can see artist and song info.

I would consider it if it was $40 a year. But, it sounds like crap when I plug through my headphone jack into my receiver. IT seems I have to turn everything I use way up just to hear it then it is muffled or just crappy.
But, then again, If I was paying $40 a year, I could just hook my laptop up to my receiver.
I also use my droid in my car with the same results.
