Sirius XM Android app is here

Here, maybe this one is a little easier to see:

I'm sure if you call the Ph# they will let you in on the offer

Not sure about an existing account (though I suspect it's the same) but I know that if I wanted to use 2 mobile devices at the same time I would have to pay for each one separately.

I've used the app on my Droid and iPod Touch at the same time with no problems. I also installed it on my wife's Droid and it seems to work just fine, though I haven't tried using it on both phones at the same time. If I'm expected to pay more for that ability then I'll cancel completely. I'm paying the extra cost for the app on top of the get every channel package for the XM radio in my vehicle. If I'm expected to pay even more for my wife to occasionally use it too (and I rarely use the app) then it's just not worth it.

straight from Jamaica, Mon!

I have two (the expensive kind-built-in) XM car radio's. and now a homw unit. I get charged for THREE accounts on the 'family' plan. Damned if I'm going to pay so I can listen between my car and my home, or anywhere esle. BTW, I see that they are not sending ALL channels to the Droid subscriptions, anyway. I want XM 164-Classics, like the old Dragnet, The Shadow, etc.

I used the app on both my Droid and my wife's iPod Touch at the same time, but I found that if I sign off of one, I get signed off of the other.

Hey Sirius is out. Is it any good? I already have Pandora, Slacker and Last.FM. They annoy me to no end by not allowing me to change but so many songs. And oddly enough they seem to frequently play songs I dont want to hear.

And why is this app not in the Marketplace? Is it a BETA release or something?

While I was using the free trial, the app worked great with navigation running. Since I'm out of the trial and am officially using it, it doesn't work at all while navigation is running. I don't even get the loss of signal message. It just stops playing and then eventually crashes. It works fine if I'm not using navigation.

If you like it, it's good and worth it. Most of the music channels have really good playlists.

It's a release (1.0.0) and it's only available on the Sirius-XM website. See the first page of the thread for the link.

I like XM and have it on three cars but, IMHO, they need to change their business model to be linked to the person and not to the number of radios one has. For the $36 extra per year, I'll opt for the premium Pandora and be able to have Octane type music without the lame DJs yacking ad nauseam. (Who really cares what these folks have to say? It was the ad-free experience that drew me to XM in the first place.) Pretty soon, they will want users to pay to not have DJs...

I have three accounts and they want me to pay for this app...no chance.
A work around for anyone interested, I use orb and steam to my droid, sound is great steams very well.

Hey Backnblack,
, not sure if your being a wise guy? if so, its not the money its the point of knuckling us another fee.
if not, i have used orb for years. It was a solution far long before smart phones took off. For me it was great to listen to sirius on the boat or where my car, driving in the country could not grab any satellites but i had full 3g signal, so streaming over a browser on my dumb phone worked perfect.

Premium Online has been a $1.99/month for some time.
I have a lifetime subscription that does not cover the online service.

I hate fees also....

IMO slacker is way better than SiriusXM if you comparing price to features, SiriusXM does have a good station list and cool DJs that give good news and stuff but that doesnt warrant the $10 increase in price over slacker. I was a SiriusXM subscriber for about 3 years and Im ditching it for slacker. If you are annoyed by the skipping limit fork over the $50 a year its worth it.
