Two level 3 or level 4 DC 12's would be a great system. Maybe just one Orion HCCA 12. Memphis audio make some good 15's also. If its a real tight budget I would go 2 kicker 15's with a 750w RMS amp.
(2) Level 3 DC's: 750-1500w rms
(2) Level 4 DC's: 1250-2500w rms
(1) Orion hcca 12: 1250-2200w rms
(1) Q power "new deluxe" 12: 450-600w rms
(1) Q power "new deluxe" 15: 500-750w rms
(1) Kicker CompVR: 400-500w rms
Don't know a whole lot on Memphis subs specs but from what I have heard in person during demos they sound pretty good. Also reasonable price even on 15's around like 130ish each I believe
what sounds like its in your price range? DC is an expensive brand but ill hopefully have 2 lvl 4 12's or 15's with 2000-2500w rms soon. I am currently saving myself. Audio is expensive.

92 Honda Accord wagon with Alpine head unit, MB Quart QSD 6.5" components (kick panels), 4" in fiberglass pods on the dash, Rockford Fosgate T8004 (200x4 RMS), Rockford Fosgate T40001bd running 2 Rockford T2 15s, 180 amp altenator, and 3 Optima yellow tops! Got two more T2 15s and another 4000 waiting for a wall to be built

I'm right here in rocky mount nc about the only shop around here is Wires Inc. and Auto Phonics. If I ever make a trip to the western part of the state I might drop by. I got a couple people torwards that end of the state willing to trade demos so a trip has got to be in the future. Rocky mount needs a shop that's willing to just give you some advice and you can chill at the shop for maybe an hour and learn a lil bit.

Ok, must have missed it. 2 good 10's would work well and probably be better for sound quality. 12's would be a good compromise for loudness and sound quality.
