From a posting over in the Moto forums someone called VZW CS. It will supposedly be pushed out in batches going alphabetically by your last name.

Woohoo, my "B" last name is gonna come in handy than LOL

I'll be checking for the update pretty frequently over the next couple days manually until I finally get it. I'm not waiting for the OTA notification that is for sure. Last name starts with G, so it wouldn't be tooooo long...but still longer than I'd want to wait.

checked again just now....still "up to date".

ps...How ironic too that summer ends TOMORROW at 11:09pm!! I guess end of summer REALLY MEANT end of summer. dancedroid

Funny thing is that Matt over at Motorola was the source of the "early September" rumor. If what he is saying is true and we have Froyo tomorrow, he and Motorola will be redeemed...at least in my eyes.
