[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

I'm sure he'll get it back up soon enough. It does suck though. I love waking up to new builds!

Completely bricked at this point, I have no idea what to do. I can't even charge the battery. The phone has been plugged in over night, at this point it just sits on the charger with the Motorola logo, no charging light or anything.
 
I have noticed my signal never goes above 2 bars. I have updated my towers and it did not help.

I'm not understanding. What did you do? What process did you take? It looks like you'll have to sbf now. Put the phone in bootloader and sbf.
Root
D2 bootstrap
Wipe everything
Install gb leak
Reboot
D2 bootstrap
Wipe everything
Install cm7gb (not the froyo ver!)
Install gapps
Reboot
That's the way I always do it. It shouldn't fail you.

I'm going to give it to the end of the day to try to boot my device, if it doesn't work I'll just go to the VZW store and toss it at the tech support desk. They can't find out it's rooted and hacked if they can't boot it!

edit: @ldopa: I followed those steps, after the bootstrap recovery step and wipe, I booted to GB and then went back and installed the CM7 zip in recovery. Install was successful but it bootlooped on the CM7 logo again. I went to stock recovery and wiped & reboot, now it doesn't even charge and just sticks on the Moto logo. After a few battery pulls the logo will stop and the charging light will go on but nothing happens, I left it charging all night in this fashion. The bootloader also has no power to program.

If you know anyone else with a D2 or D2G, borrow their battery and sbf. You'll be back to operational once you sbf.
 
use a wall charger, not a usb charger. also to get into recovery if it wont boot past the M logo turn off the device hold power and side the keyboard open and hold the up button as well (the arrow pointing towards the screen) and let them both go after a second then you should be ready to use rsd lite
