[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

Okay, so my update went horribly awry.....

I SBF'd, went back to Froyo, no problem. DL'd the update, seemingly no issue. Installed update, stock recovery seemed to work fine. After the reboot I got the bright and Shiny new Red Moto logo.....

Then Bootloader screen with following errors:
D2.37
Err:A5,69,35,00,27

Battery OK OK to Program Connect USB Data Cable

???

If you can't reboot to get running, you might have to go back to the Froyo SBF and start over..

What's the key to get into stock recovery after booting up to the triangle in GB? Tried volume up and down, no go. Tried search button, all four arrow buttons...appreciate it if someone can confirm how to get to the stock recovery menu.

It's supposed to be X

It's supposed to be X

That's to boot up to the stock recovery triangle.

Then for Froyo it was the search button to display the stock recovery menu.

And for GB I though it was the volume button...

But nothing works, tried pretty much all the keys...and combinations.

Nevermind! :) It's both volume keys...DOH!

Gotcha! it's the search button. right next to x

I just got all my apps and settings up on the last nightly of CM7GB. Is it really worth it to get this OTA update just to reinstall the same nightly over it? Won't that negate anything that comes with the OTA?

No, it won't negate the OTA because the OTA has a new kernel. Any features of the new kernel will still be there, and maybe fix some of the lingering issues.

So I wanna switch to cm7d2 but I'm confused. I wanna dl the gapps but the pack says its for 2.3.4 but the link to the gingerbread root it 2.3.3.
