My GF came home and I switched batteries so I can use her phone to charge mine and use her battery to SBF back to GB. I SBFd in stock recovery and rebooted, still stuck at the Moto logo. Running RSDLite now in the bootloader to see if SBFing with that file from MyDroidWorld will get this thing out of its funk.

Any word on a rooted .zip? I would rather not go through the manual root process just yet.

I'm backing up CM7 right now. Gonna SBF and root the update. See if I can replicate ozone's results.

I am now installing all of the gapps on my new CM7GB D2! Thanks Red and ldopa for putting up with me. I found what I was doing wrong and no, I will not tell you what it was. But it was definitely user error and I'm wiser for it.

All worked out...just closed the root window, rebooted phone, re-ran one-click root and it finished in a couple of minutes or so (phone reboots twice during process). Very cool...

Booted up CM7, but getting locked up during CM7 boot logo, so I'm going to have to go wipe data, I fear.

I didn't wipe cache/dalvik after restoring my backup, so maybe that's why I'm getting stuck.

Okay, so my update went horribly awry.....

I SBF'd, went back to Froyo, no problem. DL'd the update, seemingly no issue. Installed update, stock recovery seemed to work fine. After the reboot I got the bright and Shiny new Red Moto logo.....

Then Bootloader screen with following errors:

Err:A5,69,35,00,27

Battery OK OK to Program Connect USB Data Cable

???
