[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

The Google Apps page is a bit confusing, can I use the same Gapps file I downloaded a couple weeks ago or do I need a new one?

I can use it for numbers, but it seems to conflict with the hard keyboard in Terminal Emulator. The software keyboard rocks and I used it constantly.

Once on bone stock 2.2, go to about phone and check updates. Dl the ota and install

Once on the ota, use the d3 one click pc method to root it (it may take more than once so don't worry). Once rooted, d2 bootstrap into cwr. Wipe data, cache and dalvik. Mount system (just do it). Install cm7 gb 9-2 build and gapps 8/28. Reboot. Then if you want (you definitely should) flash jakes mod (v7 will be out shortly)

The SBF via Mac was a success! Super easy too (once I figured out how to do it)

Now back on stock Froyo (sys. ver. 2.3.20), Nothing showing up under System Updates yet. Should I just wait a while and see if it shows up?

All I know about it is the info in RSD lite

Filename: VRZ_A955_2.3.20_1FF_01.sbf
Creation Date: 10/29/2010 01:28:56
File size: 455586301
RAM DL Version: N / A
Bootloader Version: N / A
Platform: 4G OMAP
HAB Type: Signed Production

Thats another thing I cant seem to find RSDlite anywhere. The one I found here took me to some dead site with a ton of popups.

Or you can just dl it (there's a link around somewhere. Rename the file to update.zip and flash.

OK...I've updated the install instructions in the first post again, adding links for RSD Lite 5.3 & drivers, and RSD 5.4 (thanks, Idopa, hadn't even seen that was out).

If you guys see anything confusing/missing let me know. Hopefully we can refer folks to them rather than continually having to repost them in the thread...
