Not sure if this helps, but remember that Android builds the statistics on battery use on the fly. When it doesn't have history, it basically guesses AFAICT. So it stands to reason that it might not appear to be holding a charge for the first week.
Wow i woke up this morning and the Droid 3 was totally dead. It had 70% battery left when I went to sleep. wireless was off, and it was set to nighttime battery saver mode.
Wierd. Hopefully this doesn't keep up. Not gonna be fun going to work with a dead phone.
I'm having the same problem. I love the phone but I've got to figure something out with this battery. It's being nuked while it's supposed to be on standby.
Here's another, yeah it seems it doesn't like the bright sun. Even to my back it was washing out on certain things like the car lol, maybe it is the car haha!
Accessories complaint: Very much dislike how the "screen protectors" only covers the part of the front where the display is. There is unprotected area at the top, sides and bottom where the buttons are (this last point was the same on the original Droid). Makes it very difficult to position the protector. I understand this might be because of the camera on the front, but my ipod touch protector has a hole there.
