so, with all of the new phones coming out and rumored.... which one has the best camera.... I have a Droid X and I love the camera and HD video.... it is really important for me - I don't want to downgrade on that....

I have a Droid X right now and dislike the camera quality. All the new phones coming out has superior camera over the DX. This I can guarantee.
The NExus has an excellent camera.

I'm not sure how the Razr camera is yet, haven't read up on reviews, but if it's anything like the bionic, it won't be good!
And +1 to the Nexus camera! It's going to be amazing! Don't buy into the MP myth. It will have fantastic quality with 5mp.

Ultimately I just love all android os devices for the most part. The variety that we are being bombarded with is outstanding! I do hope the nexus will be the next best thing but we all know it is outdated as soon as it comes out. Just like my bionic was before I even bought it. I average a phone a year and ill be completely satisfied with db for next 11 months. I may buy a nexus just because I want a second phone to play with. I am just happy that there is a community of this caliber that is not infested with the i-lemmings that I seem to be everywhere in L.A. if I have to hear one more conversation about siring and how it revolutionized the game again I will drop kick that person lol.

I do know quite a bit about MP.... I know back when I got my 5mp Panasonic - that I was told that at 8x10, it was of a fantastic quality.... I do love my Droid X - I am getting a replacement for it today (long story).... But I do LOVE the size of the photos from the 8mp camera. I am a graphic artist, and it is great for getting into my 12x12 layout and it almost fills it at 300 dpi. It is important for me to have high print quality. I love having a great quality camera, with a great quality phone....

Not sure if it was in this thread.... but I am one of those modern moms with an android smartphone.... and I would not trade it for a day..... (now upgrade - especially for "free" LOL.... different story) LOL

What about the galaxy note??? I have been recently thinking about my next big purchase - a new laptop or a tablet (I want the new PS software for the tablet)..... Now I see the galaxy note and maybe it could replace the tablet idea.....

well I just found out that the GN is AT&T.... we have verizon.... not giving up my unlimited data....

I really did like the Nexus though.... sounds really good

I'm glad the Gnote is going to ATT makes life easy, Gnex or Gnex, vs. Gnex or Gnote! I would have seriously been torn if it came to Big Red!
