Ok here's what I'm thinking and hoping too. The delay for the LTE version for the us is because they are dropping the internal storage to 16gb but adding a microSD slot along with the LTE radio. That would put in on par with all the latest handsets and makes the most sense.

I can't see that happening. I'm just going to try out the Google music cloud at first so my storage wouldn't start off half full.

I really can't either but I also can't see them releasing a phone with only 16gb max of storage and no removable. It's not like the device is so tiny there's no room. The first gen iDont had 16gb and that was 07!

I'm chalking up the delay to Verizon wanting to brand the crap out of the device. I mean, look at the instructional videos.

I can manage 16GB now only because of Google Music, but I better not be paying $300 for this phone.

If its only 16 then I will be keeping my TB even with its issues till next quarter when a quad core comes out. I'm just disgusted with all the wishy washy stuff going in with this phone. I am 95% positive its due to VZ and not wanting a unlocked VZ phone.

Don't forget you'll be lucky to get 12gb out of that 16gb. Sorry but that's pathetic with a device this cutting edge that's capable of 1080p video capture. What's that about 30 mins worth? Also, alot of folks (not me) have tiered data so the all this cloud nonsense sucks for them. Oh well, I still want it tho lol, I just hope all this compromise is worth it. We shall see....

Someone commented earlier in thread that it seems Verizon doesn't want us buy the Nexus, maybe they don't. Its not branded, no bloat (very little). It will bring them money,but so will the others. If a million of us are going to get a new phone by the end of the year at about $300 a piece, what do they care which one, its still a million sales. Additionally, they don't care if we rent them until January 9th. They will have their $300 in pocket and $35 extra for "restocking fee".

I want this as bad or worse as the next, still running my OG. MY biggest gripe is why can't Verizon just say something. No company is going to release a perfect product on a perfect network, they have all proven it. Give us a hint at what's going on.

Everyone else is guessing, so mine would be 32gigs early december, hopefully sooner of course.

Its not a rumor its on the official specs page! if it has only 16gb and is $299-$250 im waiting for Tegra 3 and if i didn't have such a great discount and unlimited Data i would be leaving this carrier.

This is not a rumor, this is the official specs on the LTE version from Google.

I really doubt it since the site had said 16gb/32gb the other day and now it doesn't. Plus EU always gets better phones then us and all of theirs is only 16gb.
