Out on a limb but maybe just to protect a selling point of the beloved Razr, VZW is only selling the limiting 16GB version gnex for a competitive advantage.

lol, i have yet to speak to a vz rep that had a 10th of the knowledge here. like going to best buy buying a tv or computer, does this have the capability of the (johnson rods) up grade that hit? rep: whaaaawawhat. i have learned not to ask, never met a rep that knows more than i. if it were my job, i would not be stumped, simple.

Well, this guy at least knew everything *we* know - he was talking about all the rumors that we read online. All I'm saying is that he knows the 16 GB on Google thing, and that their systems say 32 GB, so if it's changed, Verizon hasn't updated their internal system.

Basically, the guy is as big a fanboy as we are.
