The Official DF Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Thread

In getting a new phone this Friday. Nexus and if not out then I'm going for the 4S! Google sucks now!!!

You think this is Google's fault? No, no my friend, it is Verizon who has completely botched the launch of this device. Verizon sucks now, just as it did before, and they will continue to suck for years.

But there were multiple pics spread on twitter and this forum showing the nexus AT verizon stores. At the very least, and I know it sucks, but we have to be pretty close to a launch even if it is not on Friday.

I seriously think we should start flooding the Executives' emails, this is the only way we will be heard. I'm starting with the CEO and working my way down. I'm now contemplating just waiting for my contract to end and bringing my business elsewhere. Why does the rest of the world get to enjoy this device except us?! I feel very discriminated against.

Something tells me we are being trolled by the same know it alls who have said about 29 different release dates.

To be or not to be........................wait what was the question? This signature has been Tapatalk approved.

Maybe this is VZW's strategy....

Keep pushing the release date out so more people upgrade to the RAZR or rezound, then collect the $35 restocking fee for every on of those that get returned. Thats $35 extra times a good number of phones at this point.......just a thought.

I really wonder what Google and Samsung think about they way Verizon is handling this phone release? I can't imagine they are pleased at all.

The release of a phone is one thing, but this was supposed to be the early release of ICS also. And Verizon was to have some sort of a head start selling the Nexus before other carriers got it.

Well AT&T had the Galaxy Nexus pass through the FCC a week ago and I'm sure they won't dilly daddle around with this phone... they will release it.

I read an article talking about how Verizon offers the top devices... well this has not been the case for some time now. Verizon passed on the GSII which could have been selling TONS of phones for them. They certainly didn't pass on it to get the G-Nex because AT&T will soon have BOTH.

Something is wrong. However whatever is wrong is not being made public knowledge. I think it may be the 4g network which seems to have issues all the time. For instance the problem the Razr is now having with their sim cards related to the network.

Regardless what the issue is with this phone, Verizon never once offered up any information about it or the release. If we didn't have information from other sources we would know nothing about this phone. If Verizon thought this phone was important they certainly would not release it without telling the consumers something about it.

I'm sure AT&T won't have a problem releasing this phone on their network.
