Can you put a new phone on your Verizon bill from Costco? I'm guessing no but I'd figure I'd ask.

If I buy some apps from the android market for my D1, will I have to buy them again for my Nexus? I want to buy some of the 10 cent apps but I wont be using my D1 that much longer (lets hope)

Speaking of 4G outages.

I bet one thing Big V is worried about is all of the people that are upgrading. The OG is 2 years old, so all of those peeps are ditching that phone and getting onto a 4G phone (most likely). This means that their 4G Network is finally going to be pushed and tested. I know many of us are still using the OG or a 3G phone to this day and I'm sure VZW has a report that shows how many people are eligible for upgrade from a 3G phone and they realize that most people will go to 4G (even if it's not the Nexus). I'm sure they want us to be happy with the phone because of the Verizon Network, not just because of ICS.

Let's be honest, if/when I get my Nexus, I will be pissed if 4G isn't working or is spotty. I'm in the Minneapolis area, so there is good 4G here (according to the maps) and I would like to experience that. Verizon will have more unhappy customers by releasing a phone that many people want that is 4G and not being able to support that new bandwidth on their 4G network.

No you won't have to buy them again no matter what android phone you ever get.

Weren't there Verizon accessory packs that were supposed to be available alongside the nexus upon release? Anyone recall what they were supposed to be?

I don't think its about the 4g outage. Why would they promote the double the data for 4g only?? It's like they want people to get 4g phones.... If they think their 4G is not ready then they wouldn't push for it. I just think it's something else... Maybe legal problems??

I don't remember ever hearing that...

You just read what could be the last post sent via my Droid 1

I thought I saw something saying there would be like a case, screen protector, and charger combo and an extra battery, extra charging cable, and seperate charging dock combo or something. O well, maybe I'll just buy one of those tsu cases and pay for the faster shipping incase this thing releases this weekend/early next week.

The last post via your droid 1?! o noes!!

I think it's to push it beyond the 12th so I get stuck with my RAZR. That's right. Verizon has delayed the phone to punish patriot95. You heard it here.

When we say "4G Problems/Outage" we aren't talking about the shotty connection people have been having for the last month or so, we are talking about the network failure of the past two days (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-news/186385-yup-lte-down-again.html). They have had some type of sys-fail substantially more severe than people with weak/hit-or-miss connections. I think the problem is large enough that if they phone were released today, a significantly large amount of people would not be able to activate their devices and the number of people who were able to initiate the process would be a lot of strain on an already crippled network.

I hardly ever post from mobile, so I figured any post I do from it will probably be the last one since I will have a new phone in very short time.

What did you have before you went to the Razr? Would it be able to support you for a couple of days?

You have to be able to activate the phone over 3G or else they wouldn't be able to sell it in non-4G markets. Right?
