Clearly you don't belong here in this thread. The phone wouldn't have become such an obsession for all of us if it wasn't taking so long to be released following the Hong Kong show. Rumors or not..

So hopefully you guys know that I am not the kind of person that would come in here and troll everyone and would only communicate info if I thought it had any merit to it...well:
A member of the DF team has been contacted by someone associated with VZW who had a bit of additional information with respect to the release of the G-Nex. In an effort to maintain a degree of separation between the source, their contact and the leaking of this information, we have stepped through a few levels of separation to avoid any info-to-source association. The contact (who is definitely more than just a store rep.) stated that the internal current slated release date is now December 13th. No gauntness can be made that this date will not change, but that is the current target.....
And that's all I got. Take it for what it's worth.

Why would u come in here and make a post like that? U clearly have no idea what's going on. We have lives, work, school, familys, etc but can one not dream about a phone on the side?

I disgree. Everyone's frustration comes from the fact that this phone launched to the rest of the world on November 17th. Yet Verizon, who I'll remind you, originally claimed this phone as an exclusive, has pushed back the release of this phone for some unknown reason. Now the latest rumor says December 13th. If true, that's nearly a month after the rest of the world. Unacceptable in my eyes, especially when Samsung met Verizon's 11/17 production deadline. What god forsaken warehouse have these phones been sitting in for nearly a month?
I agree it's just a freaking phone, but it's the best phone on the planet. If you don't think it's exciting then this is not the place for you. The majority of members following this thread are waiting for this device because it's the best of the best, and the first worthy successor to the OG Droid.

I think I'm still going to go in tomorrow morning when they open and see if I can snag one. It's worth a shot.
I think you would have better luck at a Premium Retailer than a Corp. store, but there is no telling at this point, it may still turn out to be an all channels release.

So, I've been following this thread for the past few weeks now, anxiously awaiting this phone (my OG Droid has been able to tell a replacement is coming, I've never had it so temperamental.
What finally made me post is that I just called one Verizon corporate store and three resellers in my area and they all confirmed to me that they would have the Nexus on sale tomorrow. Maybe they haven't got the right info yet, but I'll be there when they open to try and snag one tomorrow.

Still wondering why delay a product already deployed, and, a product you don't even have to sell, people are are waiting to buy it. I bet we're all the same, you show up to the store, ask for the Nexus, then they want to explain the features and what not, not realizing you know more about it than they do. Just shut up and gimme my phone, sales Weenie!
