I'm not talking about most hated star wars character, I'm talking any character from any book, movie, or TV show...

I didn't even think about the implication of post counts.... meh, it only double what we had already posted in that thread, a coupe hundred at most. At least it didn't inflate the likes as well.

Hahahah. It's funny because I just lurked before you made that thread, so I only had 40 posts outside of the thread. Now I have almost 300.

I never claimed people outside of forums don't know about this phone. I also acknowledged the web ads in my post. My point was the marketing of it. A major marketing campaign involves TV, radio and print. We have been inundated with RAZR and Rezound ads in all those media, that hasn't happenend with the last two Nexus phones and likely will not happen with this one. If web ads were more or even as powerful as these media, carriers and OEMs wouldn't invest the millions of dollars they do.

Agreed. As "archaic" as TV, radio and print seem nowadays haha they are still the media where advertising works best and reaches the most people from all different demographics.

Yeah the complete lack of advertising is puzzling. I know the other Nexus devices received little as well, which is why the sales numbers are so low. I am starting to convince myself the carriers look down upon the Nexus devices because they can't load it to the brim with bloat.

Yeah, I may have to force the issue of watching the first episode and then it will be a lot easier going from there.

If you want to know the true definition of "power-watch", try watching 1 seasons of 24 in 24 hours... My roommates and I watched season 4 (I think it was) during finals week of our Jr. year. Started at 10AM and went straight through.



I've considered Justified... Timothy Olyphant is a pretty kick ass actor, it is just getting harder and harder to add new shows and after getting burned a few times (Flash Forward, Heroes, Studio 60, The Unit, Jericho, Defying Gravity...) I kind of like to see a show hit it's 3rd or 4th season before going back and starting at the beginning.

Ah, Flash Forward.....was just starting to really get into that one. Was a really "different" show, knowing snippets of the future. I wish they would come out with shows and "guarantee" that it finish. I wouln't have cared if Flash Forward was only one season, as long as we knew how it ended.....anyone remember "The 4400"?? That show was awesome, and BOOM! Gone.....

They shouldn't be allowed to do this to us.

So the talk of star wars earlier got me thinking... who is your most hated movie character of all time? Obviously the character that started this thought process was Jar Jar Binx, but that is based on pure annoyance with the character. If it was based on evilness, I'm not sure where I would go... I read a few people that said it was Percy from Green Mile... I could definitely see that. So what about everyone else, mosted hated character based on annoyance and based on evilness.

Afterthought... have to add in Joffrey Baratheon on the bases of pure evilness...

For any people headed to school for business/marketing, when the truth about the delays comes out (and it will at some point), I suspect that there will be a lot of material that can be used for term papers, thesis papers, etc.

Even without mega advertising I still expected a set release date, some acknowledgement by Verizon, or even another leaked screenshot. We really have nothing to go on this week except for peoples sources. I don't know of another single VZW phone that was released without them giving a date?
