The depth of this statement is beyond human comprehension. How does one answer such a complex question????

You know what stinks the most out of this, my D1 has been so good to me and I have fallen in love with the pure Google experience and the ease of rooting and roming with it, that I just can't bring myself to buy anything but the Nexus now. My D1 is dying slowly though, at some point I won't be able to wait any longer.

Yours and mine both. Mine has been acting a fool lately. When I'm trying to type on it sometimes I hit a letter and it might type 3 or 4 of that letter or I might not get any at all. I'm running cm6 on it, but it's struggling to keep up.

I have no opinion either way at this point but does anyone honestly believe this phone is still launching thursday?

Sure. The release date *was* December 9th. They had posted it in their internal system, and many of the stores were prepared to sell it. They had (and have) the phones in stock. Then something came up, and then delayed it.

But they delayed it on Tuesday -- and at that time, they had still publically said *nothing* about when it would be released. I don't expect to know until Thursday if it's being released on Thursday.

So the talk of star wars earlier got me thinking... who is your most hated movie character of all time? Obviously the character that started this thought process was Jar Jar Binx, but that is based on pure annoyance with the character. If it was based on evilness, I'm not sure where I would go... I read a few people that said it was Percy from Green Mile... I could definitely see that. So what about everyone else, mosted hated character based on annoyance and based on evilness.

I didn't even think about the implication of post counts.... meh, it only double what we had already posted in that thread, a coupe hundred at most. At least it didn't inflate the likes as well.

There are lot of people who know about Nexus devices, all my nontechnical friends heard about it. There are ads for nexus phones all over the web. Online ads reach way more people than TV ads. A TV channel has 2.000.000 viewers, the Internet has 2.000.000.000 users and I saw that Google is pushing it's ads thru AdSense.

I never claimed people outside of forums don't know about this phone. I also acknowledged the web ads in my post. My point was the marketing of it. A major marketing campaign involves TV, radio and print. We have been inundated with RAZR and Rezound ads in all those media, that hasn't happenend with the last two Nexus phones and likely will not happen with this one. If web ads were more or even as powerful as these media, carriers and OEMs wouldn't invest the millions of dollars they do.
