How can you say one amount is blackmail and another isn't? 50.00 is worth different things to different people. For 50.00 I wouldn't have driven back to the store let alone wasted 2 hours of my time discussing it with anyone. Besides the damage has been done and that employee/manager is already received whatever they are going to receive. Returning or keeping the phone is only a financial matter of what it's worth to BB to correct the problem. In this case it wasn't worth anything.

I think he just meant that the "I'll post your name, address, children, and ss number on the internet" threat was a little over the top. Remember, the internet is not a big truck. You can't just dump things on it.

Yes, I agree. But I wasn't extorting it. Suggesting that they give you a gift card for your troubles is not the same as posting video getting the manager fired unless he gives in to your demands. If they didn't give me anything extra for my troubles, and the guy came and pleaded that it was an honest mistake that he might lose his job over, I'd probably give the phone back anyway. A phone is not worth someone losing their job over.

lol, it does sound surprising i know but its rained for 2 days now and its in the 60s. best hot chocolate time. :biggrin: and knowinf me i would go to MN and eat ice cream. lol,id be cold but its ice cream

There's no way in hell I'd return it without significant compensation. Sounds like BB was making a lot of demands, but not willing to accommodate the buyer.
