The White RAZR is even less of 'another phone'..it is not even a brand new model it is just a color variation, and it got it's own announcement a day ahead, so...

And it also has the name "Droid" attached to it and could mean a lot of $35 restocking fees for people that love their droid but just gotta have it in white... except for those who bought it day one and just missed their 14 day window... sucks to be them.

Thought I'd just bump this post from early October back up to create more paranoia.

I wish you didnt bring that here, especially from two months ago. So much could have changed behind the scenes at Verizon. And they said this year. They werent even sure in that if the Prime and Nexus were the same device or not..

Well I texted the person selling me my phone and its still a green light for tomorrow, unless a last minute hold from verizon comes which he highly doubts. Not to mention jfmft screenshot whom I believe. If it drops it drops. If it don't I wait. Its the phone I want and will have.

Correct... but has Verizon given us anything to believe it will? Other than internal possibilities that are not certain. The 9th was very similar to what is happening today. I don't want to be another negative attitude.... but I've not seen anything yet to make me feel certain.

I was certain it was last Friday... and then WHAM, everything fell apart for some "strange" reason we are not aware of. If it were the network it could have released on Monday since it was fixed quickly.

Being honest here, I think it best that we all put in our heads now that the phone will not be released tomorrow. Let's just do that because it will save a little disappointment, maybe.

lol did you make that up? I did send a very harsh Tweet to them but did not get a response

if I were to be a 4g lte tablet from Ebay or from VZ with out a contract, would I be able to use the sim card from my Gnex (when I get it) and be able to switch back and forth? Also, will the Gnex run in 3g mode with out a LTE sim card? Can I still make /receive calls and texts?

I'm 99% sure your phone will not be able to do anything but WiFi without a sim card in it.

Called my local best buy just now and they told me I could come in and pick one up tomorrow. For some reason they're (Best Buy itself, not the employees) still calling it the nexus prime but the folks at the best buy mobile in my store seem to know their stuff. I asked if I could pick one up today and they said no but tomorrow is a definite. I sure hope so. I'll be out there at 9am sharp fully prepared to grin like an idiot or throw the mother of all temper tantrums.
