I texted a guy I went to high school with who is a manager of a VZ corporate store, he said that tomorrow is not the day

Alot of stores had their shipments in hand in time for the 9th "release" too
Put this in the other thread. I don't want to see this.
And I just asked my friend Drew who also works on Verizon and said tomorrow more than likely, if not, Friday.

Did he give any indication if this was based on something he was told from above or doubt that he has due to not hearing anything?
Despite that article, I just called 3 local corporate stores. All three almost said the same thing. They sure know about the phone, but no official release date announced yet. No dummy phones out until the release date. Also, one said that they had the store refresh yesterday and nothing related to the Nexus went up. They said they usually would have heard of something by now if release were this soon.
Screw this.
I know they most likely have their reasons for waiting this long (no reason though for not giving us any information), but it is HARD to ignore all the stuff going on outside for them. All the calls to their stores, all the hate on them online/on forums/on blogs/in articles/on Twitter/Facebook. How has NONE of this for all these weeks prompted or forced them to even SAY A WORD?????? I just completely, no NOT understand. They are acting like the most ignorant, unaware morons in every way.

he didn't say much, but I have been dealing with him since I have been with VZ, like 7 or 8 years, he has always been straight forward with me. Maybe he just didn't say it was tomorrow because its not "official" who knows
