When they say "will definitely send a press release to announce availability," that means they will tell us ahead of time, not the day of. So no it's not tomorrow man.

I'm so done with this crap. Who the hell wants to wait until after Christmas for this stupid thing.

There really isn't anything stopping them from announcing it this afternoon, tonight, or tomorrow morning if they want to launch it tomorrow. Besides if more stores are getting shipments that can't be a bad sign. It's still really frustrating though.

Here are the latest tweets sent to @VZWSupport. I didn't skip any, this is literally the ONLY thing their customers are talking about.

I would do absolutely ANYTHING to punch someone who is responsible for no launch yet and no information on a release date. Anything- I am not joking at all. I would punch so hard right now it would probably break the person and my hand.

Also, if the launch was going to be tomorrow or this week, they wouldn't have bothered with that PR announcement just now. They would have just waited it out like they have been...they certainly wouldnt have made it a point to get some information out at this point after not doing so at all for months.

I've called two verizon stores and one said let me check and put me on hold and never came back, and the other said they were getting the phone and it should be released sometime next week.

Call radio shack and they said he hasn't got any but the other radio shack an hour away has some and they will probabley be released tomorrow.

Tried calling Best Buy but can't get through. Honeslty it doesn't look like this is getting released tomorrow.

I highly doubt they would release it on the same day as the white razr.

I still think it's releasing tomorrow. I can only speak to my own experience but for almost a week my best buy has guaranteed me that I can come pick one up tomorrow. Now with the fiasco that occurred the other day with Best Buy selling the phones too early you would think that corporate would have made sure to tell their employees to shut up unless they were sure it was coming out. I can't honestly believe that they would repeatedly promise me it's going to be available tomorrow if it isn't. It would make zero sense. There is no way Best Buy's corporate division is going to allow for more screw ups and you would think that they would want to avoid putting their employees in a position to make a mistake by telling them to tell customers they could buy it.

Called 2 Best Buys near me. Both said they do not have a release date yet. Called 3 Verizon Wireless Stores, the 1 near my office said they did not have a date but offered to take my number and call me when they received word of a date. The 2 near my house said they did not have a release date.

Also.... the statement said "We will definitely send a press release to announce availability"..... That could imply as much that they are going to announce when it is available, not when it will be available. It's like they are telling us "Hold on to your britches, stuff's about to get real!"

Just to be safe... all of the gun owners following this forum should give ALL of their firearms to a responsible person who is NOT awaiting the Nexus release. Ask them to lock them away in a safe place until after the release of the phone. Also, please call you doctor for a prescription for some valium to hold you over until the phone releases. I don't want to see any of your pictures on the front page of the newspaper...that's never a good place to be. If it does release tomorrow, you get your guns back right away...but no celebratory firing in the air!

anybody want to discuss the likely hood of the next nexus phone will be a moto? and if google will own moto maybe more of their phones will be closer to vanilla google like the D1
