I don't think Verizon has said anything. Google and Samsung confirmed the issue. Verizon hasn't given us a date ever, therefore has never delayed release. Their secrecy is why we are going crazy. Not any "delay".

That was found yesterday, it's most likely something they made weeks ago before the "delay" occurred. There hasn't been an official delay obviously, but outlets were predicting an earlier release.

Sorry if I re-posted, I can't keep up with all of the Nexus hype. :biggrin: Android central made it sound like it was just found, but I'm also aware that news from these sites can be delayed. I'm just going to try to maintain a little hope that we don't have much longer to go.

Sorry if I re-posted, I can't keep up with all of the Nexus hype. :biggrin: Android central made it sound like it was just found, but I'm also aware that news from these sites can be delayed. I'm just going to try to maintain a little hope that we don't have much longer to go.

No worries, wasn't my intention to call you out for a repost=P Was just letting people know that a couple people familiar with Best Buy's policies had already posted it was most likely an ad they made a couple weeks back when the estimated release date was still late November.

I'm nearly certain the 16GB will be $199 and $299 for the 32GB version. They would obviously advertise the cheaper version, knowing the general public wouldn't care about the difference.

IMO the price at least will be true. Although the $199 price tag sounds much nicer.

Delays are not "because the phone is still going through testing." It may be, but only cuz it beats twiddling your thumbs. Vzw has a need to get more RAZRs on the street, but people aren't really all that excited about phones that are missing major expected features, like an easily removable battery, or for that matter, an SD card slot. Vzw will continue to sit on a ready-to-launch Nexus (& D4?) until they sell enough RAZRs or are forced to give up.
This may not be such a holly jolly xmas @vzw...

RAZR has an SD card slot. Verizon is smart to wait a couple weeks. And they have. Hopefully this week or next week we see the Nexus in stores.
