Ok, First impression is very impressive, especially coming from a D1. My D1 is rooted and ROM'd and OC'd to 1Ghz, but my Bionic is freakishly blazing fast compared to it. I haven't noticed any lag whatsoever, but I haven't been able to play with it too much because I have just now been able to get it on the charger for the first time. Making a fuss about the Pentile screen is a joke. It looks awesome and I'll take better battery life over saturation any day. The only negative that I've noticed so far is I'm only noticing about 4Gigs of free on board memory out of the 16gig it's supposed to have. Not sure if that's an error in the app reading the memory or what. It's it's really only 4gig then it's pretty disappointing. Other than that I have no complaints so far.
Ok edited it... added bionic pic taken from d2g.
The image taken with the Bionic is alot better than the one taken with the D2G.
Yea it looks it but I was never dissatisfied with the pics the d2g took .. guess its the extra megapixels...
Also take note of the battery usage on the bionic. I had it fully charged 5 hours ago and have been playing with it ever since, shot some HD video, hooked it up played it via hdmi on tv... battery seems amazing, this is the regular battery.

Well, I got my Droid Bionic.....order confirmation. I won't get it for probably a week or so since I'm deployed overseas BUT I made the mistake of ditching my OG Droid for the VZ iphone and I want to get away from it so much I'm having the Bionic shipped here, even though I can't use it for anything other than WiFi. Grats on everyone who got theirs today, I'm insanely jealous! :happy:

Went on to Walmart website and they have the Bionic listed at $199 with two year upgrade! Went through the whole checkout process and they offered next day delivery for free. Can't imagine a better deal out there.

I upgraded from the original droid and I am a happy camper. The battery life seems to be fine although I know its a little early to tell. I found out that NFL mobile is a free app and looking forward to seeing what that's all about.
The operating system is so similar to what I been using, so not much of a learning curve. Text editing is much better and the voice quality is top notch.
Haven't got into the camera or much video yet. The YouTube that I did try was quick and no lags. I like the 4G speed and no lags when using apps and typing on the screen.
