I have had phone since around 2 pm today EST. I love this phone. I got the HD dock and love it as it has 3 usb ports. So many options with this phone I could not be more happy with this purchase. To many pluses to add about the phone no negatives yet! Will post more I love the dock and how it transforms to webtop and I can still accept calls while surfing on big screen or other monitor. I may get the lap dock for work not sure yet but sampled it in store was amazing. I highly recommend phone. ZumoCast application is awesome. I set my laptop and desk top at home and was able to retrive documents from those computer to phone. It is late and I have more playing and learning to do about the phone as I discover more great things. I dont care what phone comes out this is it for me for a while. I am a former Droid X owner and I loved that phone. The wife has it now and she also got a Samsung tab for herself becasue she wanted kindle. It also looks great for 150.00 price tag. My next purchase will be dock for bionic and possiable a tab. anyhow its late I got be up in 4 hours but cant stop playing with my new toy. Verizon was nice and gave me 25 percent off accessories. Also one good thing is Droid X car charger and wall charge also fit the bionic which is a plus. Like many phones in the past you always had to get a different charger to fit. Plus 1 for Moto for not having me to buy a new car charger. The phone is very fast and I did not know i had 4g yet in my area but I do! The phone is much faster browsing and so many other little neat odds and ends the phone offers. Let me know of any questions and I may be able to tell you. Also there is a huge tips section section on the phone for those no tech people and tech people that do not know everything what this phone can do. DROID DOES! iphone 5 may be great but i cant see them blowing the socks off this droid. Flash Flash Flash need i say more. Happy for all who got this droid today.

Dont overlook the HD Dock Station. 3 usb port and HDMI can hook to any big screen or other HDMI monitor. Key board, mouse, and what ever other device can be hook up. It is 99 buck but store gave me 25 bucks off. I wanted the dock and still thinking but I am starting to see no point for me. This HD Dock is awesome I dont need a laptop or desk top any more.

you'll still want your laptop or desktop.. there are things the Bionic cannot do that a regular PC can.

Got my Bionic on the afternoon of the 8th.

I really like it so far, the 4GLTE speeds blow away the 3G on my DX. But I'm really not digging the Gallery on the Bionic.

I pozted this in the other thread that said Official in the title, but i had to get in this one so im reposting. Dont hate, it wont become a habit.

The Droid that almost wasnt.... I get up nice and early and head to a premium retailer at 830. Wait 30 minutes for them to open so I can go feel up the bionic before going to Costco to buy one. Ths sales guy says they don't have any but might a little later. So I BS with the guy for while and told him I was heading to Costco to buy mine. He asked if I would bring a bionic back for them top play with if I actually get one. So I head to Costco at 930 wait for them to open and hit the verizon booth at about 950. The guy says he doesn't have any but they should be there any minute. 30 minutes later im told they should be here by 11 for sure. So at 1110 i come back and there are two othera waiting for the phone as well. He says they are there but not unloaded yet, long story not so long....at around 12 i finally get me slip. To go pay for it and then the employee will go grab me one. Im not on my wifes card so now i have to wait for her to get off for lunch and drive a half hour to walk through the line with me. 1oclock rolls around and she shows up and i get my bionic. I basically spent 5 hours tring to get mine, butidid finally get one along with the bundle. Car dock..charging dock..spare batt and charger for it..cheap hip case and a screen protector all for 302.00. Oh and i love it so far even though im not in a 4g area. The screen looks very good unless you get so close you cant focus then you notice it is a bit pixely but honeztly at a regular viewing distance you cant see them. It has been a little laggy opening one or two apps and not tooimpressive for browsing but all in all a great phone..much better than my thunderbolt.

I can't wait to get mine tomorrow morning (9th), I liked the speed of it and like all the accessories it has. I was going to get it but I wanted to wait at least a day to see how the battery life is and so far it seems very promising.

I am completely surprised by the battery life. The sales guy recommended i not use the car charger for a day or two becaise its a quick charger and you should always slow charge a new battery regaurdless of what it is in. So i plugged it in the dock and allowed it to fully charge and i ran down to red then recharged it to full now im running it until it shuts off. Two full cycles and slower charging should get me the best life possible. I am currently getting about 4.5 to 5 hours of continuous usage, i mean non stop, this poor thing is getting a work out. Its red now and then ill dock it intil morning and im hoping for 6 hours of continuous use and a full day of "at work" style usage.

Ordered my Bionic this morning thought everything was good said it would be here tommorow by 4:30 pm. Checked the emal conformation the had the wrong freaken adress after I made them repeat0 it three times. Called them wright back said they will take care of it Im gonna be pissed if they dont.

You should be good, if the phone is in transit the new addy can be electronically transmitted to fedex and re-routed. I think you will be ok..

Make sure you fully charge it first.

I can't make up my mind to get the Droid Bionic now or wait until the Droid HD comes out. What should I do?
Now I just found out that there is another Droid about to hit the market...it's called the "Droid Prime" or "Nexus Prime" by Samsung due to come out in Oct or Nov.

There is no guarntee that any of these rumored devices will come out.
Today the Bionic is the best device available on any carrier.
The question only you can answer is, "Am I ready to upgrade right now?"

It's weird hearing everyone talk about how some of the stores they went to did not have many in stock. The rep yesterday told me that they actually had about 50-60 in stock. Even he was surprised. It was one of the better Verizon store reps I have dealt with. He could tell that I kind of knew what I was talking about with phones and treated me that way.

Also walked into my house last night and did a speedtest on 4G. I got 32.35Mbs. Needless to say I am pretty happy.

I got mine!!! Gave up my original Motorol DROID, and so far....love, love, love!! I was hoping for the Galaxy SII, but since Verizon isn't getting it, I've decided not to wait anymore. So far I love the phone. Three issues came up so far. 1. My contacts had some duplications. 2. I lost one of my EXPENSIVE apps (not motorola's fault) and 3. Can't leave the case on when using the dock. By far, the last one annoys me the most!! Why can't they figure this out?????
