★ The Official "I got my Droid RAZR Thread" ★

I do have wireless at home, and already have it set-up. Probably won't use phone at home that much for internet, already have laptop computer for that :)

Then you'll want to download and install Verizon WIFI Auto-On and configure it to activate your WIFI for you when you are in a location where WIFI is available...even work where right now you get 4G.

Just got mine yesterday. Sadly the first hour I had it, I realized that no one could hear me making calls, so I had to go back and get it replaced, which is very odd. But nonetheless I definitely like how fast it is compared to the Droid 2 I had-slower than a turtle. I like the design and feel of the phone also, touch screen is right on and overall I am really enjoying it and showing it off haha

Just left fedex and verizon store, big upgrade from d1. Ive heard my share of battery ideas on how to get it to keep its charge. Any ideas that work?

Hello! I have had my RAZR for about three weeks now. I am totally in love with it. It is tougher and smarter than me, lol

Well, been part of the forum for a "bit"...pretty much lurk... do a lot of reading about apps...issues...ect.
My first Droid (don't even remember the model) was not getting calls from people, passing text's...ect. Actually it was probably fine...but the Mrs started to doubt the "missed call BS" after a while...so off to the Verizon store I went...had it checked out...and decided to upgrade. Ended up getting a nice Razr... Otterbox...and the "travel pack" whatever pitch Verizon throws at ya. So far I am extremely happy with the phone...lot's to learn. It's fast compared to my old one. It's amazing how much a phone can do...imagine where we will be in 10 years. So far the only app(s) I got was antivirus...sniper game...and deleted a golf and football app. Need to game up...and get into some solid management apps. TIA for any suggestions.

Just picked my Razr up last week. Came from an Incredible when i dropped and cracked it. So far, so good -- very happy with my choice.

Hey. Got my DROID razr about a week ago & it has been working like a charm. No problems yet. The camera's pretty good if ur hands aren't shaky. I come frm a BB bold where the camera stabilizer was better but then again, nothing else was even remotely compareable to this beast!
All in all, excellent choice though the service network for motorola's warped in India. Go Moto!

Have not figured out how to shave with it yet. Rather dull razor......gets all clogged up when you try to rinse out the shaving cream...

Hands down the best phone i have ever used and i hope all android phones smash iphones dreams of becoming a popular phone i say down with apple anything

I got my Droid Razr last night and it's awesome for speed, but my battery is about dead. I charged it last night and started my day with a full battery. I wouldn't say I'm a heavy data user since I'm at work but do use it for more than phone calls. Looks like I may have to take this one back and get the Maxx for better battery life. My old droid had better battery usage than this which is dissappointing when you upgrade and not everything is better.

Got my Razr last week after envying my wife's for a couple of months. We both had the Incredible for almost two years, purchased on the recommendation of a close friend. The wife's Incredible failed three times... the first two it was replaced under warranty, the third time she upgraded to a Razr. Same story with the friend who got us into smart phones with the Incredible, after two failures replaced under warranty she went to a Razr. So, when my Incredible started showing all the same symptoms as theirs I decided to upgrade before failure. My last simple phone before the Incredible was an old Razr which served me well, hopefully this one will as well. I also have a wifi Xoom... now I'm anticipating ICS for the Razr!
