The Ultimate Droid 1.0.0 - Droid 1 Only

I've been running for about two hours with nothing really major to report.
Installed with SPRecovery...
1.) Backed up Data (nandroid backup)
2.) Installed new rom
3.) restored data from nandroid backup
4.) rebooted
All aps and my user data still in tact rom running beautiful.
just tried to run fix permissions and it just kept running and running. So I had to reboot to get it to stop. For now I'm just going to see how long the battery lasts with the stock Slayer kernal....report back later.

Been running slayher 1.1 v1.6 with no problems whatsoever...Haven't had a chance to try wifi, but I'm sure it'll be fine. For whatever it's worth, it's my stock kernel and has never failed...Great ROM.

How can I get rid of Launcher Pro? System data/apps and just delete it from there, via root explorer??

BD YOU ROCK..... I appreciate all the hard work you and your team out into this. AS usual you found great ways to improve the ROM, I especially like the new phone/contacts screen it is great. Just wanted to let you know that this kicks butt!!

The best thing about UD is that I really like the stock theme and don't have to change a thing. Everything is amazing besides the lockscreen. I don't know the reasoning behind it, but I prefer the rotary anyway which looks fine. Though, the music controls overlap the 'verizon wireless' texts.

Anybody know where I can find just a theme for the lockscreen?

This ROM is, so far, OUTSTANDING! It is extremely responsive! I ran UD 8.0 for the longest, then switched to BB .5 which was no slouch, but this ROM makes it feel outdated. You have out done yourself UD Team! Donation coming your way...

I dont think most people who love rotary realize that it is still the same swipe across the screen as the regular lock screen. It is just visually more appealing for people.

Doesnt matter if you follow the button on the rotary or just grab it and slide across :-D Just sharing

Yup. Try it out just going straight across. It works. My reason for liking it is yes, it is more visually appealing. But also because the vibration for it is more subtle than the newer one. No idea why it's like that, but it is. The stronger vibration just makes it feel cheap in way, if that makes any sense.

I use a pattern unlock... works out the best for me... plus all my friends think it is really neat-O :-D

This isn't the beta swype for the Droid1. This was pulled from the Droid2 and ok'd by admin here on DF.

Working pretty smooth so far. I also love that swipe has been added on. And I noticed the zoom when recording video is gone. Will that be added in later?
