Couple more problems i've noticed.


I had this issue with BB too. Every time i reboot, my Facebook contacts disappear. I have to go back in to the FB app and re-enable sync.

When i rebooted this time, it also lost Swype. It still registers as installed, but clicking in a text field brings up no keyboard. I've tried resetting the app, i installed the HTC IME keyboard then tried reinstalling Swype. Same deal. Idk what i should do, Swype is broken.

I am having app installation issues...I have done the following several times...

FULL Titanium Pro Backup
Full Nandroid backup
wipe data/cache 4 times
install ROM
(wipe data/cache again on one attempt)
wait for market installs to finish...hangs after a while...says phone low on memory and all further installs fail
Run Titanium Pro with new busybox and unknown sources checked, also force to same location is checked...
Run batch operation (tried missing apps/data, missing apps, force reinstall of all apps...)
went into settings/applications and forced 50+ apps onto SD card to free up memory....

still missing 35+ apps
Market will not update
installing ANY new app (even very small ones) results in phone low on memory
MULTIPLE reboots
I have no theme installed and I have not added a new kernal yet

For now, I have reverted back to 8.0... until I can get my apps to install, I am stuck here...

Any ideas?

What method are you using to install the ROM
Clockwork or SPRecovery ??????

he took that out cause this whole rom was rewritten from the ground up it should be in the next release

Closing the last window in the browser yields a force close every time. Tried rebooting, tried wiping data and cache and starting over from scratch, tried running fix permissions...nothing seems to do the trick. Is there a fix in sight?

It's a known issue and BlackDroid is aware of it. Hopefully it will be fixed with the next update.

Well that's comforting. I had a braniac idea to try to replace the Browser.apk in this rom with the one from UD8...didn't work out all that well. Trying to launch the browser kept crashing LPP. Oh well, I tried. Guess I'll just be waiting for a fix. I guess it kind of is unncessary to close the last tab, as I just long press the back button to kill the browser anyway....but it's a bug nevertheless.

One other thing...is there a way to customize LED notifications in this rom like in CM6? I can't find a setting anywhere.

Having Wi-Fi probs. Says it is connecting then just disconnects and keeps trying. Never connecting though. Trying a diff kernal to see if that may help. Any suggestions

Had the same problem on a different ROM. What I did to fix was tell it to forget saved access points and reboot. Then added them again. Haven't had problems since and that was a few months ago and many ROMs ago.

I've had that issue with every rom including stock. I think its a hardware problem.

I flashed UD 1.0.0 last night (first ROM ever) and it was great. The only bug I've uncovered so far is as follows:

1.) Open the browser
2.) Hit Menu > Windows
3.) If you only have one window open, and close it (which works fine on the stock rom, it just clears the window), it causes the Browser to FC.

Otherwise, great job UD team!

and i have to accept the market tos again and again

while i love the new features 2/3 abv are deal breakers for me. hope another version pops out soon

...then again i love UD 8 so its not so bad dancedroid

Go into your acct settings and sync gmail. It is unchecked by default. I find this version much smoother than the last. Did you wipe date and cache when flashing this one? As far as your market issue, I got nothin' mine works just fine.
